We've been married 30+ years, and seriously I think neither of us ever got the hang of grown up life. We just use a plain bar of soap and some random shampoo that was on sale (although our shower is jammed with bottles of stuff our kids leave here, but we have no idea what they are), we have laundry chairs, and our decorating style could best be described as "college dorm after the party." 😬 Adulting hasn't really worked for either of us.

The single body wash clip hits different now that I'm married and regularly use 5-7 different scrubs and soaps in the shower...same with the fridge, and the tried and true "Chair-Hamper" laundry system 😂

My husband a couple weeks ago was about to take a shower and asked if I had any body wash. He was surprised when I had three for him to choose from. He said, “Are you serious right now? I have been slumming it with a bar of soap while you have three body washes?” I was just surprised he never noticed or used them before. It’s not like we’re newly weds. I think my product basket, as pretty as it is, has just been a decorative black hole in his mind that he never touched Idk. Now he sometimes comes out of the shower smelling like coffee and coconut. I love it!

Misery loves company, and I love seeing this stuff. My buddies and I go on a football / golf / gambling trip one weekend a year. We all make the plan as soon as the Bears schedule comes out, run it our respective wives with various candidate games. Then plan things out months in advance so we don't somehow cross it with another "family commitment".

The clothes on the chair killed me!! In the military, I knew a 30 year old staff sgt that had the room from hell. Clothes were EVERYWHERE! I asked how he knew what to wear. He said, "The clothes closest to the wall locker laundry basket are dirtiest and the ones farthest from it ate cleaner and can be worn again.🥴 After we all left the dorm and we allow to get apartments, we went to his one Saturday. His groceries consisted of a can coffee, a box of Count Chocula, and a 6 pack of beer. Single guys kill me!! I didn't ask how often he changed the sheets...I was afraid.

Being single is great and there is a time in a person's life that they need that. In fact I chastised a dude I knew in the military for getting married at 18. But being married is also pretty awesome for multiple reasons.
