Well the man who was turned into Nemesis was a clone of a Umbrella executive called Sergei Vladimir. Umbrella found out that Vladimir had the right genome to become a tyrant and Umbrella started making clones of him. These clones became the basis of the tyrant project. Because they could get tyrants whenever they wanted, Umbrella started to make a mass-produce model T-103 series. And Nemesis is just a tyrant that Umbrella made surgical operations to and used a NE-alpha parasite to it that made it more intelligent than its ordinary T-103 counterparts like Mr. X.

Albert most likely took the body of Enrico and brought it to a location for Umbrella to find before leaving. So Umbrella experimented with this model and with the NE parasite to create a fully controllable Tyrant. The rest is history Edit: Also to answer the question of who Nemesis was before... It's likely that Nemesis and all the Mr. X' are the exact same Tyrant from RE1, since it's too difficult to find enough people with the fitting DNA, which is needed to mutate into a Tyrant instead of a regular zombie, Umbrella decided to clone this one successful Tyrant over and over again. It's Forest Speyer. He was pecked to death by crows, is one of the only members who knew who everyone was to a T, and he was found with a rocket launcher during one of the playthroughs. Weaker must have knabbed his corpse seeing he was already dead and took him to the underground lab which would explain why he dissapeared for a long duration of the game till you get passed the plant monster.

Enrico would be the perfect choice, especially if Nemesis can draw on past memories to complete his mission, knowledge of other S.T.A.R.S. members, their strategies and locations would make complete sense, I remember a line from Jill when you’re in a restaurant with Carlos, Nemesis appears and that is when she says in summary, “how did he find me so quickly?” Perhaps it is answered in game, but for me it never was and it has bothered me since. I could understand why knowing who he was might take away the fear for some, but for me it adds an uncomfortable creep factor, like a stalker who follows you, such intimate understanding for how you function getting twisted and turned against you.

The nemesis parasite hijacks the body of the host tyrant and takes control. The brain of the tyrant host is left inert and unable to do anything. All of Nemesis' intelligence is that of the parasite and not the tyrant. So even if it was Enrico (Which it's not. It's a T-103 mass produced tyrant body. Same model as Mr. X ) he'd be a prisoner in his own body unable to do anything because the parasite has absolute control.

NEMESIS *cannot* be Billy Coen. Why: Because Billy could not have captured and mutated in time to be in the mansion's laboratory when the Tyrant in the mansion "killed" Wesker. Why NEMESIS would not be Enrico Marini: Because of Wesker. First, again, Enrico could not have been shot, killed in the Underground of the mansion, brought back to life, and then mutated to become a proto-tyrant before going through each and every mutation. Simply put, the Tyrant model from the mansion has been there for a while (see conversations between pre-G Birkin and Wesker). Ergo, Enrico Marini *could not* be NEMESIS. Who could be NEMESIS: I have only one guess, which is George Trevor. Basically, from his diaries in RE 1: REmake, you find out he gets loose in the mansion, but can't escape. You also find out that Dr. Marcus' leech clone was who was responsible for the T-Virus leaking in the mansion in the first place. So, basically, George Trevor gets exposed to the virus while in the mansion (I believe he gets tested just like his wife Jessica and daughter Lisa), at which point the virus keeps him in a suspended state, and doesn't let him die (the T-Virus has exponential regenerative capabilities). Because he was eventually found by Wesker or some other member of Umbrella, he was then taken to have more modifications done, and ends up as the programmable prototype NEMESIS tyrant. As for the information relating to S.T.A.R.S.: That would be intel from Wesker. As the S.T.A.R.S. commanding officer, he would have full dossiers on every member of both Alpha and Bravo teams, and therefore could give that information to those responsible for programming NEMESIS.

I’m seeing comments pointing out Sergei Vladimir and the timelines kinda overlap/conflict. BEFORE Sergei, it was said that only rare genes could be used to clone tyrants - then the strain was altered to find even more hosts. Devs either skipped on that idea or changed the lore to make Sergei standout, but the strain was altered before Sergei ever stepped into the picture. The comics aren’t cannon but I’m literally HURTING over not talking about it in the video!! It’s somewhat of an interesting story - the nemesis as a boxer before mutation. I don't think Nemesis was ever anyone in particular. We knew from the games that Umbrella executive Sergei Vladimir was one of the rare people with the genetic capabilities to become a tyrant. I believe the genetic capabilities to become a tyrant were 1 in 10,000,000 which means the right candidate would be very rare. I always figured they made clones from Vladimir's genes. Also Wesker defected from Umbrella during the events of RE0/RE1. So he wouldn't have been handing over ways to help Umbrella. Nemesis is generally considered a T-103( Mr.X) type tyrant enhanced with the NE-α Parasite. Nemesis doesn't necessarily have to have been any known character or even someone they just plucked off the street. I know in the new trailer Nemesis is seen in an operating room, but even if his base form was a T-103 he still would've needed some surgical procedures once the parasite was added, so it would make perfect sense for him seen getting some nipping and tucking without him having been anyone special in the past.

@@Oatmealism People read too much into simple things. First of all, those manhuas and comics/books that extends the universe aren't canon. The only books that are canon, are the S.D Perry's ones that reenact the games. Second, people seems to forget that Nemesis is a Tyrant above all and the Nemesis-T Type is just a T-103 with a symbiotic NE-α Type Parasite. The T-103 model isn't "mutated", they're cloned in laboratories. Since Nemesis isn't the first Tyrant, he is just a T-103 clone. So, Nemesis wasn't human and they experimented on him and a mutation happened, thats some bullshit that horrible RE movie made up. He is just a T-103 clone that merged with a NE-α Type Parasite, hence his different look and abilities. There is no secret, no mystery.

Lore and timewise, it wouldn´t fit with Billy either, since Zero happens in late July, which would mean that if he gets caught, he would have been caught, transferred to Europe, to be experimented on and been transferred back in 3 months tops. Lore wise, I think I read somewhere that Nemesis had months of training before being deployed. I think I read somewhere as well that T-001 and T-002 were two different people and not clones, as they were 3 "Successful" tyrants, T-001, T-002 and T-011 (which would later become T.A.L.O.S, or become the basis for T.A.L.O.S from Umbrella Chronicles). A third thing I read somewhere is that T-103s has already been created by the time RE1 happens and Umbrella Europe had already started experimenting on a few of them to create Nemesis.

To add to the fact that the T-103s were already produced in some sense by the time Zero/1 were happening is the fact Sergei Vladimir and two special T-103s called Ivans were taking T-011/T.A.L.O.S from the arklay mansion, as seen by Rebecca Chambers in Umbrella Chronicles. I think I read somewhere, that Umbrella reviewed the combat data of T-002 after the mansion, they found the T-103 viable and produced more, as in July, they had already created Ivans and a few t-103.

Yup. Discounting the comic, the Nemesis is an experimental, mutated, and infested-by-a-parasite 'stock' Tyrant -- the same series as Mr. X. The Zero Tyrant was a failed prototype; the Mansion Tyrant was an obsolete Tyrant, if not a complete failure like the Zero Tyrant. Also, we don't know how long that Tyrant had been in storage, given that TALOS, a 103 variant equipped with weapons, was extracted by Vladimir and another two 103 variants of a different line.

It's entirely possible he could be based from someone else. Besides, Billy disappears, just like most RE characters after one game, so he's an easy one to theorise.

Maybe Richard, the one who saves Jill from the snake "Yawn" From the Cutscene It looks like he is dead since he got swallowed, but a snake could split its food out whenever there is a emergency situation. Maybe some how he survived and captured by Umbrella for virus study(Since he is infected with virus for sure) , even if he is dead, his body could have been retrieved by umbrella to study and transform into Nemesis with those crawling tentacle? The way Richard runs really looks like the movement from RE3 Remake too.(Just guessing)Last but not least, he saved Jill before and He remember her. so that's another reason why he is so into her in RE3?

You're forgetting one very important piece of information in the RE lore. The Nemesis was created by Umbrella's European branch. The North American branch of Umbrella turned down the idea of the Nemesis project because they weren't convinced that it was a viable avenue to pursue. This little piece of information almost certainly rules out the possibility of the Nemesis being anyone from any of the games up until RE3.

Crazy theory: Could the Nemesis be the T-001 that was fought in resident evil 0? My thoughts on this are after the battle with Billy and Rebecca. Birkin using a team from umbrella recover the corpse of the tyrant (T-001) possibly buried under the rubble of the mansion and take it back to Raccoon city for testing using the knowledge from Wesker Birkin manages to upgrade the T-001 to a T-002 and then on to a MR-X tyrant Birkin then uses a NE-α parasites which was given to him by the higher ups at umbrella for testing on the new MR-X tyrant to see how it reacts to the T-Virus Before using it on any of his other experiments such as the G-Virus. The MR-X after some time then mutates in to the Nemesis Which then during the outbreak in Raccoon city awakens breaks out of its containment and begins to hunt down the S.T.A.R.S members. This could be the reason why it hates the S.T.A.R.S members and whats to hunt then down as it was the last thing it fought and was the last thing it saw before it was defeated as it is written on Rebecca uniform? Crazy theory but figured I would share it. Great video bro :)

From what I understand (and please correct if I'm wrong). The original T-002 was a human experimented on and modified in the image of Sergei Vladimir, leader of Umbrella's military. The T-103's, the Tyrant types Mr. X/T-00 is one of, are the perfected clones of the T-002. The Nemesis is a T-103 implanted with the prototype NE-a parasite so that it has enough intelligence to follow any order. Because the NE-a consists of all sorts of viruses such as T and G, Umbrella had to perform serious plastic surgery and give it that coat that stops it from mutating into the handsome devil it becomes at the end of the game. So there you have it, the whole origin of Nemesis.

The guy your thinking of is Richard Aiken. And it would be impossible because he died in the mansion, though his death differs on who your playing as. As Jill, he died by being devoured by Yawn, the same snake that originally poisoned him. As Chris, he's devoured by Neptune, a T-Virus infected shark.

Actually, his fate is left ambiguous. We don't know for sure whether he goes on to survive past the end of RE 0 or not. I know that "head canon" is nice to fall back on, but that's all it is.

While not canon to the games I believe one of the novels states something about Billy having fled to South America, I could be wrong because it's been a fat minute since I've read any of them (or listened to the audio books) but I believe there was something more to go on about him than what the games gave us.

Wouldn't Enrico's body have been completely obliterated during the Spencer Estate's explosion, the Underground Courtyard is very close the Lab so it surely couldn't have survived. The only place that could have survived would have been the Guardhouse/Residence B1/B2 which is farthest from the Lab's bomb. Maybe the USS extracted Richards corpse from Neptune's belly and...yeah, probably not.

Hate when people just ignore the full lore to justify a silly theory. First, compatibility, its stated that only 1 over 100000 are capable to tolerate the mutation process, that's why the clone the recipients compatible with the virus. Second, the Tyrant project is designed to be produced in mass for military use, they're not conceived as a unique products, Nemesis included. Third, the time lapse between Resident Evil 0 and 3 is about 4 to 6 months, while the Arklay mountains laboratory was already infected and Nemesis T type Tyrants were producen in Europe already. RE3 Nemesis is no one but a regular Tyrant clone.
