Mickey, these lessons are invaluable! I've been playing for ten years and watching your videos that long- it's only recently I can really get what you're teaching under my fingers. Thank you.

Very eye-opening stuff, Mickey- especially the B pedal + raised Es at 5. Never tried that before. Now- what would make this lesson perfect would be for you to play along with some simple rock and roll tune to show how you would fit these things in. Specifically, when it goes to the 4 and 5. Great work, and thanks for being such a tremendous asset to the PSG community!

Good stuff. I've only practiced the minor pentatonic in like one position. I'm definitely coming back to this tonight at the guitar.

really good stuff here! I'm gonna be spending some time on this! I also really like the City Lights stuff earlier in the video. I'm gonna try and figure some of that out as well. It kinda sounds like your talking about someone else's version of the tune inspiring this. Is there an original I should check out?

Mickey Adams Hello, hope you start feeling better. There are a few of people teaching pentatonic scales on steel here on youtube. They mostly explain 1 position. I knew most of these positions, but you explained the playing of these position scale so well. At the end of the night, at the weekly jam I go to, I asked 1 of the singers how I sounded. He said he turned around and saw it was me insted of the guitar player, playing those blues lick on Red House. Said he didn't think a steel could play the blues like that, he was impressed. Thanks my friend. Sorry this was long, but had to tell you.
