लोकगीतों के मामले में बिहार के लोकगीत समृद्ध और समाज सुधारक है। हमारे बिहार का छठ गीत, सोहर, देवी गीत (पचरा), बिरहा, कजरी, चैता, फगुआ, बारहमासा, रोपनी गीत, निर्गुण गीत, जेवनार, जंतसार गीत आदि और भी है । विवाह के गीत जैसे की सहाना, सगून, सांझा, पराती, मटकोर के गीत, सेंदुरदान के गीत, चूमावन के गीत, जलुआ खेलने का गीत, परचावन के गीत, कन्यादान के गीत, हल्दी के गीत, मेंहदी के गीत, पितर न्योता के गीत, झूमर और भी बोहोत सारे गीत गाए जाते हैं । हमारे यहां जनेऊ और मुंडन के भी गीत गाए जाते हैं । यह कहना गलत नही होगा की हमारे सनातन धर्म में सोलह संस्कार है और हमारे बिहार में उन सभी सोलह संस्कारों को समर्पित हजारों लोकगीत गाए जाते है । जय भारत जय बिहार जय भोजपुरी
