You can adjust the amount of water that comes out the faucet by putting bottles ( 16.9 FL OZ water or soda bottles are great. You can use also a 1 liter bottle too) filled and the cap on with something that will cause the bottle to sink ( pebbles, uncooked rice, ect.) in the toilet bowl tank. the float will stop filling the tank sooner cause it thinks it reach the max water capacity. if you notice that solids are not flushing with one flush, then you need to remove one bottle at a time and check until solids flushes normal.

Just put water in the bottle; no need to use anything else like pebbles or rice. It'll stay on the bottom just the same.

Am getting one! Will help me step up to the plate in our drought stricken state to conserve water. I do not plan on brushing my teeth over it...but this will definitely help cut back on water usage. Sure wish I had one in my small trailer when I was getting charged by the park for water usage. Being frugal and other ways clever, my water bill was never cheap!

I could only use this in a case like yours; where you had to, otherwise this would just be an option. Having a sink in case more washing is needed, and not having to flush to do that.

Wash them in the toilet? I'm kidding! Lol. Just do your usual toilet sitting, while doing so - brush your teeth at the same time ... Then when you've finished your duties...flush, spit out, rinse mouth then wash hands or vice versa, and face. It's doable...if not, then this sink isn't for you. 🍻

Not with this model. This has no knobs to turn, it only taps into the cold water inlet for the toilet. Theoretically you could fill your toilet warm water but it would be a waste of hot water and the water probably wouldn’t turn warm until the tank is filled.

Some people hook their toilet or bidet up to hot water. They say it helps with condensation and prevents mold . However whatever water you have hooked up to your toilet is just routed to come through sink as bypass before it goes into the tank.

I don't think they understand your question lol 😂 ... If you do a courtesy flush while sitting on the pot the sink behind you will flow, my guess is that with the aerator it wouldn't splash the back of your head and back.. lol but idk for sure..

No, it doesn't. You can see the soapy water flowing in, but it is not foamy or bubbly.

Yes, flushing is what turns the water on, but it runs long enough to wash hands.

e r I think its just the water thats filling the tank every time you flush, so if you just needed to wash your hands youd have to flush the toilet.

The fresh water that would normally fill the tank for flushing is diverted into the faucet, so when you flush it initially bipasses the tank while you wash your hands. The used water drains into the tank for the next flush. So flush... the used water in the tank washes the bowl clear and is being replaced by the hand washing water for next time

The point of these sinks, are to save water by using the water that would normally be used to ONLY flush the toilet. Expanding this to wash your face, or do the dishes, is just ridiculous and missing the point entirely.

I feel that I need warm water to wash my hands properly , this is just the cold water line that fills the toilet tank so I assume it's just cold ,

Roy McCullough Water maybe cold but you still have to wash your hands after using the toilet. This sink built in the toilet top is suited for those toilet closets where there is no sink. This is common in a lot of older homes in the UK. So one would have to leave the loo and go to the bathroom to wash their hands. This is leaving a trail of germs. Opening and closing doors. Turning on and off a light switch and if it’s a kid even touching walls and who knows what else? So still better than nothing. I guess you can always wash again when you get to the main sink w hot water if you like.

In hospital, it is advised to wash hands with cold water. Cold fights germs better than warm. Warm water promotes bacteria and virus. Water hot enough to kill bacteria and virus would burn your skin off. Use cold water for increased cleanliness.
