While he did an amazing job in the Thomas Crown Affair to call him the “Best Bond” is a gross overstatement. He was mediocre in all of them and the movies themselves are hardly memorable. Part of the only reason for the success was they “wildly” popular Goldeneye game that helped give the movie an almost cultish following that fell off immediately once the next movie came out and was sub par.
