India’s weakly equipped forward post beyond the McMahon line in (NEFA) in the east was overrun by the Chinese to the shock of Nehru’s and his advisers in Delhi. A series of rapid Chinese attacks - from 20th Oct’62 - followed on Indian positions in Khinzame, Thang la and Nam ka Chu, eliciting a feeble response by Indian troops in some cases, while in others they chose to defy defeat, onto death, when fierce battles were fought by Indian troops with whatever they could muster up, even sticks and stones! But India’s defences kept crumbling in NEFA under the sheer volume and force of Chinese attacks. However, the blame for this debacle must go to India’s army commanders. Defence Analyst & Consulting Editor of Times Network Maroof Raza brings you a series that will look at the several wars that India has fought since 1947.

Any problems India faces can be directly traced to Nehru.

Good analysis, Maroof Raza. The war memorial at Tawang and that of Jaswant Singh speaks the Brutal truth. The good part is that INDIA of today will take on China if it attemps another such misadventure. Long live India ! 🇮🇳

1. *_It should be noted that neither the OPIUM trade that destroyed chy_na nor the tea industry, which depleted the backbone was started by Bharathiyas, as we ourselves were under the colonial rule much like chy_na itself..so why should there have existed this enmity?. they could have fought it out with the britishers?._* 2. *_No, it was in their very nature to EXPAND and the jealous nature, inside themselves, that caused this GIANT sized problem.. For you see the very culture[if one could call it that] was rooted in Bharath.. the very essence of Buddhism that they talk about was ours, and it travelled through Tibet. .Bharath was much richer, both monetarily[as noted by huen tsang, who travelled till Vijayanagar empire in the south] and more balanced, multi-cultural and yet lived in harmony and everything that chy_na, has, is the gift of Bharath...be it culture, language, worship or the shaolin...nothing belongs to them_* 3. *_the emperors destroyed ALL the original buddhist scripts, from Bharath, writ in pali/sanskrit , then raided tibet [which originally had hindu kings], and destroyed their library[containing rare manuscripts, some were rescued by britons] and then de-lineated that border, waiting for an opportune time to invade Bharath ..And that happened at a time when a non-visionary, non-patriotic PM appeared at the helm_*

As India we have to put forward our claims whole area under Maharaja Ranjit Singh beyond Aksai Chin as well as whole of Mansarover lake area including complete Kailash range. we shall sign treaty with Dalali Lama where he made pact with Indian Govt to take care of Tibet defences as we have with Bhutan. it will be helpful for future Generations to bargain and will have stake in Tibet

I really thank God, Nehru kept Andamans & Nicobar islands,or he could have given them to Indonesia, under the pretext of friendship with Sukarno and also they are more distant to the mainland than those countries

Khan is a Mongol title as in Genghis Khan,Kublai Khan. These Mongols conquered & subdued the whole Islamic world at that time ie, 12th century.Due to contact with their Muslim subjects, the Mongols accepted Islam & their progeny born out of union with Muslim women carried this surname or title. All these Khans are descendants of the progeny born out of the union of Muslim women & conquering Mongol hordes.
