Great explanation sir thank you so much🫡. I have never driven a truck myself but i just want to add on something: 1. Reason for double clutching is for reducing pressure and wear and tear on the clutch system and other transmission components 2. Reason for revv matching(Revving before changing gears) is primarily for downshifting because if the revvs are too low, the engine speed wont syncronize with the gear speed because a lower gear produces more torque meaning to say the engine torque is supposed to be high as well before changing down to prevent banging if gears. One example to relate on in real life is jumping onto a moving train, imagine jumping on a moving train without running first and then jump.What will happen? You wont land nicely on the train because it was moving too fast. Thats the same analogy with revving first before changing down a gear

Me again, our truck arrived its the Sinotruck 440, changing that thing is difficult. And with low range gears it's stubborn to move now am only using high range gears. How do I make it easy for myself 😢😢😢😢😅

@kassimwilliam67817 ай бұрын
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 Thats nice have learned a lot, my only question is when you want to start changing down at what speed can I start since you explained that in low gears we have to start below 20km what of high range gears
@chishimbakaluba54396 ай бұрын
Once You start braking/slowing down at whatever speed you where doing, you can also start changing down. Changing down gears is actually one of the best ways of slowing down because you are using the engine to slow down .
