This is the equivalent of being in a pubg match "or any shooter really", you are low on health and the enemy keeps shooting at you and you are like "I'm sorry everyone I failed you" while you are getting all emotional but suddenly you are like "NO I WONT GIVE UP my team gave me this slightly better helmet than the one I had I CANT FAIL THEM I CANT GIVE UP" so you get out of cover and somehow you manage to kill your enemy so you fall down your real life chair in a dramatic fashion panting and go like "i-i did it"

Because Gabriel's incarnation means he is mainly affected by guns because he sees them as more real than any bow, sword or magic. Which is why in the Kirito fight Kiri's first sword swings did nothing but leave him as a mess of energy while Sinon's gun did physical burn damage onto him.

To answer your questions, 1. She was out of ammo 2. She was protected by an incarnate reaction, which is almost anime bs but not quite on that level 3. She has the ability to turn spatial resources into ammunition which is what she did to his bullet to fire a magic shot because her gun was originally a bow but she used incarnation to turn it into a gun because her enemy's incaranation menat he could only be really hurt by guns.

Agreed. Although to be honest I think her killing a gangster at 8 was pretty silly-over the top-backstory. But, I completely agree with you that Sinon never was even interested in romance. Definitely not Kirito. And that’s what made her character more relatable. The only female character I related to was Asuna. I’m a woman. I never liked Kirito-I actually liked Klein-but Asuna just felt more like a real person compared to all the other female characters. The female characters in SAO are just really the worst-not literally, obviously there are worse characters out there-but in the show itself they’re very annoying. I don’t like it when female characters seriously fight over a guy. It just feels so petty and stupid. And honestly I was disappointed that other characters like Klein never got a love interest. It’s such a waste. There could have been multiple beautiful love stories in the show. Asuna and Kirito is a really good one. There could have been some others as well. But instead what we get is a bunch of senseless female characters fighting over one guy-to the point no one cares anymore because all meaning behind the love stories are ruined.

Trying to create drama with all the other girls fighting for Kirito is so stupid and useless. It is also very boring to the point that characters' relationship are not a point of interest anymore. @@orelliaorellia142 Yep. I don’t get the shippers. I like a good romance (or awesome characters like Sinon who currently has a story not about romance). But, the “romance” in the show is not good. It even destroys characters that were likable at first, like exactly what you described with Sinon. I will say that I can like a character that has a crush on someone and finds out they’re taken already and moves on. For example, initially I related to the smith-the female character that created Kirito’s sword-and I did enjoy her unreciprocated love story where during the episode when they were gathering the material for the sword she seemed to come to terms with it and let it go. I really like those types of love stories. Where the character is essentially rejected, their feelings not reciprocated, and they move on. I really like seeing them falling in love with someone else afterwards. It can be really sweet. But yeah I really dislike that the characters pursue a guy who’s already taken essentially. And they never get over it and move on. Can you imagine if Kirito was a female? And basically if it was the opposite with a bunch of guys refusing to give up even after the woman essentially made it clear she’s not interested. I think if the sexes were reversed people would be clearly pointing out how toxic it is. Because they would definitely say it’s not okay for guys to not take no for an answer. But, strangely when it’s a bunch of female characters not taking no for an answer somehow they’re not called out. And some people even want to add more, “won’t take no for an answer” characters into the mix like Sinon. Anyways that’s how I feel.
