Lori Vallow was known to friends and family as a devoted mother of three, a loving wife, and a woman of God. But over the past three years, something went very wrong: Now Lori is in jail, waiting to stand trial for conspiracy to commit murder and first-degree murder in connection with the deaths of her fourth husband, her fifth husband’s wife, and her two youngest children. For the first time, Lori’s surviving son Colby steps forward to provide exclusive insight into his family’s backstory as well as their present-tense narrative as Lori faces justice. At the heart of this three-part series is a single burning question: how did a seemingly normal woman become the most notorious mother in America?

@@infamouszxnicky 😔💔😔 My 1st death and treason threats for all of you was in late 2015, I offered to hold hands with leaders when boko servants were putting heads on stakes down in Africa and clowns were raising hell all around the world. *RECALL that pope Francis and Russian patriarch then met for the 1st time in over 1k years in early 2016.* Personally, I was born and baptized *CHURCH of CHRIST,* raised on KJV and belt before being moved to *LIVING BIBLE* and later picking up submission. My only birthed one was raised in my shade, on verbal rod and worshipping the ground I walk upon. He was sent into the world without me in 2008 and had to cut our limited contact in 2020. It's been very dangerous and painful being mine. DEMONS intentionally dropped a crane on his daily path to work and physically removed (💥killed💥) several people, including fellow workers. MY LIFE changed after meeting Pashtun area immigrant named Nasr and touching his business baby, GOAL ACHIEVER. A little bit more data: 1) Our CRUMMY Story of walking the planet was written on my birthed one's body, beginning before he moved out west for employment. He even put an ANCHOR on his wedding ring finger, along with other symbols which are understood by many. 2) The original 911 call to New York came after Nasr and I bonded in 2000/2001. I was tied up on Neptune with man's corrupt religions and government at the time. 3) I never met Nasr in person, although we spent thousands of hours on the phone up until the time he left physical. I declined marriage contract back in 2009 or so. It was late 2015 or early 2016 that I was led to believe he left physical. 4) I had several WORLD WARS with both my paternal blood and Nasr while they were still physical. They were the leading Christian and Muslim men which I was close to while part of the mASSED of world. 😔 During one of the one's with Nasr, my body gushed blood when I screamed that I no longer wanted his children. It was documented at one time, but I've lost and/or let go of most everything from former existence. 5) Both of those men, which I dearly loved and respected in their own ways, were totally wiped out in business and personal finance before leaving. They did both receive free healthcare and advanced surgeries which extended their lives by several years. 5) I am guessing I was put on some form of TERROR WATCH list after 911. I could never take a flight without being pulled to the side and totally assaulted each time I flew, until my last flight, possibly around 2006. 6) Before my paternal blood UNNECESSARILY left physical in late 2018 due to our financial poverty, choices made, and world IGNORING our calls ... one of the threats I received included *GANG RAPE & OPENED MOUTH GAG!* 😔💔😔 Bible has NOT ENDED. 👻👰🗣🌐 *"COME!"* Revelation 22:16-17

@@stonecake313 I don't know anything about it, other than trailer. HONOR KILLINGS is what some of the religious groups call similar murders. 😔 Sheesh. According to most, Muhammad was "greatest man to walk the planet" and "should be emulated in every way!" 🙈🙉🙊 THAT INCLUDES STEPPING INTO BATHROOM WITH LEFT FOOT AND WIPING WITH LEFT HAND ONLY. 🤯 I was told within the last 36(?) hours that "it's your funeral" when I'd posted something on a catholic site that wasn't appreciated. 😔💔😔 Perhaps I'll be physically murdered soon? Truly heartbreaking. I went through a similar situation with my ex-husband. He was having delusions of grandeur. He thought he was other worldly and said "I'm the chosen son of God and I'm preventing the apocalypse". Thank God he got he got help and now is medicated. He does stop taking his meds a couple times a year and all his delusions would come back. He divorced me bc he believed he has a kindred spirit and she's a fox News anchor. He thought she was communicating with him through songs on the radio or giving signs. Mind you he has never met this woman in real life and she doesn't even know he exists. But the delusions were so powerful that it made my husband forcibly divorce me so he could be with a woman he never met. The whole situation is heartbreaking. For everyone involved. He was med boarded on the 19th year of Service in the air force. 1 year shy of his 20 year retirement. Sold our beautiful dream house. I watched this man lose his wife, home, job and his mind within 1 year.

As always: a wom*n is believed by default. A man has to bring proof to a 150% to have the authorities do something. The only thing that got this c*nt arrested is the disappearance of the kids. That's when the cops, FBI, media...etc started moving. Order of importance in this country: 1- Kids (understandably so), 2- women, 3- Dogs, 4- Cats, 5- lizards,.....etc....57- men.

What was very odd to me is how the police allowed her to move around the country without the kids in sight. In Hawaii, etc. I've seen the police arrest people over the dumbest things without proof and this mother couldn't produce the kids to their dad, they weren't in school, and no one had seen them for months. The amount of odd behavior and lack of police response still baffles me.

@Art of Dance it’s a mental disorder that basically makes a person incapable of feeling remorse. They always have to be right, they see themselves as King/queen and can’t do no wrong. When called out they will deny, they live in a lie to protect themselves from ever feeling shame. Often times they tell extravagant stories that are untrue to garner attention and affection. They feed off of attention and will do whatever they can to get it. Also, because they live in such an extreme state of denial they never think anything is wrong with them. Soo they never seek therapy or treatment and often get worse until they are alone. My dad is a narcissist it’s not fun

When I first heard this case, I didn’t think it was real. Just how many people Chad and Lori were connected to who died seemed very odd to me. It was even more odd once Lori’s children went missing and she was ordered by the court to produce them to show that they were safe but it never happened. Once Tylee and JJ went missing, they didn’t care where they were. They just moved to Hawaii and started a new life. This was one crazy case with such a sad ending after the children were found dead and buried on Chad’s farm. It’s so messed up and I hope they’re rotting in prison even though the trial is still ongoing. It took quite a while for Chad and Lori to be arrested but it finally happened. Murdering her children [they did not pass away!], it is 'beyond the pale'!! Beyond the pale evil is waiting, all the things that people want to do happens here!

Crazy story. As a kid Chad Daybell took care of the graveyard by the house I grew up at he kicked my friend out of the cemetery a few times for goofing around. Then he ended up working at a company I worked for. His wife Tammy passed away. She was a healthy marathon runner and is buried at that same cemetery….Chad just seemed like a weird guy but I never knew about all his strange beliefs until this all came out. It’s weird to see Netflix specials on guy you saw around the office. It’s super creepy!

This story stills make me cry. There were so many people who would have gladly taken custody of those precious children - they did not have to die. My other question - when Lori or Chad woke up the day after their "Dooms Day" what did they say or do when they were still alive and the world did not end?? This is another case of failing mental health services in our country.

I really disliked the entire family expect for The brother Adam and the oldest son's wife Kesley. I applaud the other grandparents for requesting the welfare check on the kids. No one was really concered about the kids expect for Charles and the grandparents who requested the welfare check on JJ. I get Charles was a step parent but it burns me how the family made him out to be the bad guy when he was the only one fully aware of Lori's decline. They kept defending Lori even after she lied about how Charles died and there were so many red flags about her but yet they still went on air and publicly defended Lori. Poor Charles JJ and Tylee.

My mom became like this for a time. She was a great mom. Then after my grandmother died, she became a friend of this woman who said she had prophetic visions about the apocalypse. She filled out the garage with water, pasta, beans, canned food. Her religion mattered more. I wasn't allowed to read fiction, watch movies, or tv that was even suggestive of "darkness". She'd had a brain aneurysm when I was a Freshman in high school, but it was a fixed that year. She was supposed to do neuro-psychiatrist every month for a year. She went to 1 visit. I only learned that fact maybe 10 years later, while going through paperwork to help her. She got around it by saying she was going to her priest. Most priests and preachers require psychological study so if you have parishioners who are mentally unwell, you can urge them to get help. But instead, our entire family (my sister, my brother and I, our spouses, my nephews, mom's 8 siblings, their spouses, their kids, my grandpa, and my dad) had to live around her. And my mom was a huge shining sun of a person so she helped keep the extended family and friends together. But... it was 20 years of manipulating her... to be mainly left alone.

This disgusts me. I know the producers had to spin this in Lori Vallow's favor somewhat to get her son's cooperation but that is way too far. Lori had extremist beliefs long before she met Daybell. The entire reason she even knew who Daybell was, was because of her obsession with apocalyptic Mormon cults, there are hundreds (at least) of these active in the US right now. Daybell is definitely a monster but Lori Vallow is the one who has a string of dead bodies behind her.

I think her and her new husband wanted to make a new life for themselves so they killed whoever didn't fit In their fantasy life. The only reason they want to justify anything they did is because she was always "victim" so she wanted to keep that role so she wouldn't look bad that she left a man who loved her and her kids... and he couldn't tarnish his holier than thou complex. It's so difficult to comprehend how someone can be derailed from reality into a fake reality derived from someone else's imagination (Chad's). Literally, with no evidence that you could see or touch, this woman believed Chad's writings that were born out of his creative mind; works of complete fiction no different than Harry Potter. Just because he sprinkled some terminology of Christianity, it doesn't mean his works aren't completely made up. Yet, she believed it so wholeheartedly that she was willing to do such terrible things without hesitation. I can't comprehend how either Lori or Chad can have such a strong level of certainty that they were right in doing what they did. It's true that faith does not require empirical evidence. But if they understand the definition of faith, then they must also understand that it is possible that they could be wrong about it. Any adult has enough life experience to know that they are capable of being wrong and making mistakes, even after thinking that they were absolutely right about something. I wonder if psychoanalysis would show that she is a textbook case of someone avoiding to deal with trauma so much that she created an alternate reality as a form of escapism, and at some point she began to spend more time in that imagined reality than in actual reality. When someone's reality is painful, they will seek out and create a new one.

Exactly my thoughts. If someone says a man with green face and three arms keeps on telling me what to do, everyone gets wary. But as soon someone says it’s any angel or the Lord himself „Oh, that’s fine. They are religious, and their belief is sacred and untouchable.“ I personally know of a mother who literally emotionally abused her children in the „Name of Christ“ to the point of all of them growing up to mentally really broken individuals. Everyone around them tolerated her behavior, „respecting her beliefs“. She clearly was a highly narcissistic woman, who, in my opinion, suffered from severe psychosis/schizophrenia, what made her hearing „god‘s voice“ constantly telling her to discipline, control and punish her children, even exposing them to self-performed exorcisms. The whole parish just watched, even feeling sorry for her having such challenging kids who “required” her actions. Situations like this is when religion becomes a cancer to society.

This story lives up to the fact that, reality is stranger than fiction. 😪🙏🤬

I feel so angry, sad and frustrated at the same time. She is literally a PSYCHO of course but it’s the ignorance from other family members that also makes my blood boil. To see how many times charles reached out, sent emails, text, call… and get NOTHING besides silence from other family members because apparently they were “too busy with their own lives” like WHO EVEN DOES THAT? ARE YOU SERIOUS? Then, kids have not been acting normally for MONTHS, You have not spoken to them on the phone and SOMEHOW you think that’s not sketchy???? It just blows my mind that family members can be so ignorant and play DUMB. I never wanted to yell and scream at people as much as I want to scream at every member of that PSYCHOTIC family because more or less they are ALL at fault that 3 completely innocent people are no longer alive.

Yes!! Just finished this and literally thought the exact same thing! When he said "oh it's their drama I don't wanna get into it" ... Dude seriously? He has been your so called "father your whole life" and you can't take 15 mins out of your day to read an email or listen to him???

Omg I felt the same … I have no empathy for Colby or Lori’s mother. The staged memorial in the end with Colby … 🤮🤮🤮

Wonder if she will ever wake up. Reminds me of the Manson girls.

The whole family is weird. Even Colby. For someone who loved his siblings so much, he had basically no emotion when talking about them dying. The police missed so many red flags because she was a pretty middle aged white woman.

Omg thank god … I thought Colby and his grandma were just as weird and nutty as Lori. Saving Lori’s pictures in the beginning and Colby constantly telling Lori how much he loved her … bizarre 😮
