Sinus update, new Gloves, and my DJI Osmo+

Glad you are feeling a little better. I have been flying drones for about 3 years now. I have a Yuneec Q500+ and a DJI Phantom 3 Advanced along with a whole bunch of smaller drones. The Yuneec Q500 came with a handheld gimbal that lets me mount the drones camera on it for really smooth multiple axis video that is as good as what my drone shoots, though not as good of resolution as my DJI does. My wife and I had flu 2 weeks ago , out of work for days, could not move, man it was bad, IMO , no quick fix, doc meds help a little bit, but just have to ride it out, 2 week still coughing a little bit....glad you are feeling a little better ....remember when everyone was giving out stickers, still have yours on my workbench.

Yeah dang bug has been hanging on. I'm coughing and still feeling crappy most of the time. My wife is still feeling it too. Seems to come and go in wves. We feel a little better, then we feel a little worse. Hahaha yeah the whole sticker craze was pretty neat. I still have half a box of them. Bad thing is now I've got the Indian I need to change my logo. lol

I been thinking of getting the Dji Osmo+, but they are very expensive here and you just talked me out of it, thanks :D To bad about the surgery, hope you get better soon!

It's not a bad camera but for the price I'd expect better audio and maybe a built in screen on the handle. May suit some videographers but for me it was a waste of money.

Agreed. It's a great little drone. I am very new to drones and I've been able to fly the Mavic without too much trouble. I'm flying mostly in beginner mode and having fun with it. Still have a lot to learn.

Funny that have got new gloves coming too. Summer gloves as my other ones are 7 years old and have seen better days!

Yeah too expensive for lack of an LCD and good audio. The stabilized on the osmo works great but doesn't justify the cost.

The more I ride it, the more I love it. The Indian definitely is a soul stirring machine. My little throttle twists so far have only wound it out to ~4200-4300 RPM and it doesn't red line until 8000. This thing has some scary power to it. :D Yeah the Osmo does really good at smoothing the video and it looks great. Really a pain to use though and with the sound issues not worth the cost imho. :-(

Nice gloves - some of the more technical varieties are great provided you don't have to wear them!

Man that sucks that your surgery did not turn out as well as you hoped but maybe the cold/flu thing has not yet let you realize it's benefit. I can live with gloves getting hot spots but helmets I can't stand. I do what you are not supposed to do and pound the foam where the hotspot is and get it to go away. rsmf

I am still hoping as the surgery heals and this bug goes away I'll have some relief. Only time will tell. Don't get me started on helmets. They always seem to get me around the ears.

3 year is a long time to put up with glove that are uncomfortable at the end of your video i was expecting a clip from you DJI show how bad the sound is

I sorta got used to the gloves. After I trimmed some of the excess hem from the inside and got them broken in they weren't as bad. Still were not very comfortable though. As far as the DJI Osmo+, wish I hadn't bought it. May do some more vids with it but not sure.
