Spirit sword guy update: HAPPY SATURDAY MOSHPIT! The hits keep on coming! A second spirit sword run in a row! Absolutely fantastic weekend of runs here. I’m glad to see spirit sword getting some love, it can really be a huge help in a run, especially one plagued by low tears rate like this one. I never thought about it before but it has a good synergy with Tainted blue baby. It grants you the extra reach to get pickups that are behind rocks, saving the precious few bombs you have, and you still have decent ranged attacks due to the poops. Sinvicta has taken Spirit Sword 2 times in Repentence+ Sinvicta has started with Spirit Sword 1 times in Repentence+ Sinvicta has seen Spirit Sword 9 times in Repentence+ Days since spirit sword was last taken: 0 Episode Spirit Sword was taken: 54 (TODAY!!! AGAIN!!!) I think after you picked up spirit sword it was worth it to full commit to no tears and take Haemolacria, it would double your DPS and the tears down wouldn’t matter.

Sin, I know that you don't really like playing with mods on but I really think you would love tarnished blue baby. The character's gimmick is that it now has a creep trail which can have different effects depending on the colostomy bag you find, there are 11 different bags(i think) and you can mix them up with different bags to create new powers. I believe there are 45 different types of combinations in total, or something like that. I get that maybe the epiphany mod is a bit too much for the YT videos but i really think you should at least try it on your twich streams.❤

Last time I played tainted blue baby it was on a new save file going for dead god. Ended up going for the completing 3 victory laps challenge and it started to get weird. Once I got to the third one that changes you to the lost it tried to take away the pocket item and I ended up not being able to use consumables because the game still thought I had T blue baby’s pocket item but it wasn’t there so it wouldn’t let me swap. Still got the challenge done though

QOTE: How would you feel if bosses that had forced drops, such as Gish or Horsemen of the Apocalypse, would spawn two pedestals: One that is from the typical boss pool and another that is their typical drop [such as Little Gish/Ball of Tar, Cube of Meat/Ball of Bandages]? I think this would be a nice idea and make it suck a lot less when you're only able to get an item that doesn't impact a run much, especially when it's a CRAAAWL. Added note: The forced pedestal would not be able to be rerolled into another item unless the boss has multiple items associated with it [for example, Cube of Meat would change to Ball of Bandages, and vice versa]. *Krampus would spawn a devil deal along with another pedestal rerolling between Head of Krampus or Lump of Coal (probably too much). Sorry if this was asked before!

Question of the day: Do you think items' strength, quality and maybe placement on a tier list should be decided by (more in quantity because more and more people are starting Isaac by the day) newbie players/beginners or (less in quantity because only a small percentage of players have gotten dead god on one file, let alone all three.) expert players? Asking it because I'm really curious about what bigger content creators of Isaac has to say about the players' and playtesters views about item qualities and tierlist placements.

As an example, I LOVE breath of life. It's the pinnacle of a true risk-reward and a high utility item. It can do ginormous damage in seconds really fast and has AOE. It also has invincibility on demand and HAS saved some of my struggling runs. But most newbie players still find it trash. Same goes for items like Bob's brain, Isaac's tears and Anti gravity to name a few.

I think it would be interesting to see how a seed differs between different characters. Are the levels the same? Are the items and stores the dame? Etc.
