If it was the other way around would he join a team that's crumbling to an Akali or would he say the best thing to do for himself and the game is to play his own game, get the objectives, become a problem the enemy team needs to answer?

The Garen splitting is better, he was forcing the Aatrox to match him, and if you're struggling that much in teamfights without an Aatrox, then it's probably for the best.

Splitting is better up to a point. If you’re the top laner who is behind and the enemy top laner has a lot of gold. Split to your hearts content. But in this situation it’s reversed. At some point he could have just pushed side and flanked abusing his gold lead to close out the game significantly sooner. In the end his splitting and gold lead didn’t really impact the game. We won it without him.

For ''new'' Rift Herald : Just spam right click in the direction you wanna go in, it will. The first right click might not get registered, and because so many people were f*n it up, they changed the turn radius so that it's easier to get back on track and not just throw it in the wall. If you wanna get it 100% of the time, just spam R-click in the direction you want to go in from the start till it starts moving. Also dont try to run people over with it, just aim for the turrets with your mouse. If people are on the way, thats great, if they aren't, then you still get the Herald in the right position, not just thrown against the Nexus for no reason. Last intel : The Herald can charge again after ending a turret, whatever you hit with it. Meaning if you get the Herald to go in completely different direction, flee or even change lane BUT your team still gets a turret, you can ride it for a second time after it crashes

To me it looks like you could get the Herald without fighting if you just start it considering shyvana used her r and aatrox is showing bot side so you can get full vision control and get easy picks with your champs. I would guess talon didn't want a fight and especially considering varus leblanc and garen were 2 screens away when you engaged it's a 2v3. Also since you didn't have any mr you died to shyvana and akali without akali even using r. talon can't go in since akali can just shroud and won't die to him. Also maokai didn't use any cc for you so if Talon goes in he just gets maokai ulted and cc chained and akali can oneshot him. Imo if you had more items (mr) and survived longer it's a good play since they can't kill you and might also use cooldowns for you but here you know that you are engaging on three ap champions while having 44mr without your team directly behind you. ofc it's bad play by talon that he still gets caught by the maokai r and doesn't leave even earlier but honestly if he went in i don't think he would have been able to kill either one of them and the outcome would be the same.

Him choosing to hold his e and then using it when it was too late. That’s what cost us the trade. I don’t think I’m being bias at all. My goal is either a, hook lands and I get a kill. B we trade get spells and then I can abuse their lack of summoner spells with thresh/hexflash. Ezreal hesitated on helping and by the time he realised it could work it was too late. Lack of experience or trust.

It's a mental game at that point, a lot of times Sion players try to get the knockup before the opponent is out of range so they release Q right as the knockup is ready, the Fiora was expecting that so she W'd when she was expecting Tilt to release Q, but Tilt outread that Fiora would W when the knockup was first ready and so he held Q

@18skeltor "after initial engagement", shouldn't be an engagement. It's varus/ braum, tons of range and their ults just stop engages. When they know garen isn't there, they should provide pressure but not fight until enemy team sends more to cover. At one point he was talking about garen splitting then they fought 4 v5. Cut and he took top inhib. Imagine they play to simply stop the enemy engage. It's honestly so simple, if one person can't stop your split, probably best to split, if they send 2 now you can fight but when they match 4 with 5 why not let garen put in work?

And Varus Braum do have good anti engage tools-but Maokai has even better tools to force the engage anyways. W to untargetable through either braum or varus ult, and then Q knockback towards his team with an ult or flash setup for it-if that team wants to engage they're almost always going to be able to do so.

@benjaminhurtado5119 I'd have to disagree. Idk if you've played maokai but 90% of his engage is walking at you. His w has 525 range last I checked. Varus ult has almost 1400 range. Maokais ult is also crazy slow. Being on hit doesn't really effect anything, unless they fight. My whole point though was that they weren't looking to disengage. They felt strong so they decided to fight out 4 v5's then he blamed garen.

The varus exec himself looks like a 0-0 situation. If he died to akali, she would have gain a lot of gold for a maybe get out, if you didn't, that would been a great lead for her. But at the same time you dying for her gave some gold. I think it would be a nothing gained situation no matter what varus did, but it would be riskier for him to try to save you and give a possible double for Akali
