These smaller or low-density cities seem so much better than the big cities, to me. You get the amenities of a city, without the problems I really don't like.

I used to live there. I haven't been back since 2005. I still have a gift card from Minerva's that I've never used. I liked living in Sioux Falls and this video was a real trip down memory lane. Thanks!

This was fun, my friend and I used to drive the loop and just drive around listening to the songs on the radio. I learned how to drive there by going out at 4 in the morning and just cruising around. Miss those days. There was a lot of obstacles and tight roads you were on.

I lived in Sioux Falls and there's alot of stuff to see. They even have street races in the old part of town that I enter my car in. 😎👍

The streets look so clean, and it doesn't appear to be as crowded and noisy as I expected it to be!! (When one is moving in the right-turn lane, one should make a right turn, or risk getting a ticket.)

Recognize a lot of the downtown land marks, but sure is different from the downtown of 1965 when I graduated from Washington High. Two way traffic on Phillips, doesn't feel right!

I lived there for 16yrs how I lived there that long is beyond me, now that I look back on it. You cant pay me to live there again.......

@@andy7889 I can give you one good reason! The winter's, another the traffic every surrounding little town comes to sioux falls It was bad, but I had good connections there I could get a job pretty quick Other than that it wasn't to bad.

The downtown area has several bars & restaurants, with tables outside and inside. Very festive atmosphere, especially on the weekends.

You'd have to be born in the US to regard it as an attractive urban sprawl. Canadian cities look less depressing( I'm not a Canuck)Maybe it's something to do with the time of the year.... It may look better on a sunny day. Sorry to all the South Dakotans.

Canadian cities similar in size and population look exactly like this. Main difference is that Americans tend to live in suburbs and drive downtown for work while Canadians tend to live in or hang out downtown as well as work there. That’s why small American cities like this one tend to feel empty
