Siouxsie was always more comfortable and opened when the interviewer was another woman... It's not a sexist remark, I think maybe women could understood better her artistry back in the day, and even they got they relaxed moments to talk about everyday stuff as food and make up. This girl in particular seems to have the right approach to her!

Siouxsie used to say that the best question women journalists used to ask is "Would you ever do a TV interview without make-up?" etc. She found it fun, not insulting. She's an assertive person and good at letting people know when they're asking the wrong questions. This was clearly made for a kids TV audience. The band occasionally did interviews for shows like this.
