He has some great guests on but the "interviews" are just a lot of p*ss*ng about)

Totally agree. You should never knock someone who's actually putting themselves out there and making music that's real to them. The best I can hope is that he was somehow in on the joke or crazy enough to just not give a shit. But that wasn't very nice at all. I think Siouxsie was very supportive in her reaction. If Graham let her speak a bit longer, I think she would have had a chance to be more encouraging. Because he wasn't even that bad (for people that like real raw punk music). Love your comment. I was a Goth in Brisbane in the very early 80's when the scene was just starting here. Its been a huge upset for me to see something I truly loved go to Emo. We used to get the crap beaten out of us because of how we dressed and to see any of it go mainstream is just sickening. Nose rings, tattoos, Doc Martins etc have all gone over and it makes me ill. Seeing yuppies wear full sleeves, I just want tyo punch them. My tats represented my class and the hard life I come from NOT JUST DECORATION. I still have my piercings but never wear them now because they mean nothing. For me we dressed that way because we wanted to be outcast from a society we did not agree with. We were street kids back then so it was a hard life for us. I have buried so many of my friends that died along the way through drugs and the hard life we led. Im in my 50's now but it still means something to me. Love your comment.

7 years before TV programme was recorded I'd named one of my cats "Siouxsie". And round about the time of the TV interview I saw Siouxsie her in concert in London Just as the concert ended I had strong urge to get out the crowd before the rush leaving. I took a wrong turn somewhere and then I bumped into her near an exit on the way out, we would had wedged in the doorway had we not both stopped in our tracks. Sorry Siouxsie, I honestly didn't recognize you at that moment until the moment you'd spoke and thanked us for coming. Look at her body language in the TV program in places - it speaks volumes.

Zappa said once that most pop music was made for 12-year olds. Those who know very little about 'rock' music think along very similar lines. In fact BBC luvvies like GN (nowadays) operate at the intellectual level of 12-year olds, usually in the guise of 'fun loving people'. Ditto jerks like Chris Evans, Jonathan Woss etc., no different from Brucey and the pantheon of light entertainment. Just think what GN could have asked Souxsie about. Like how they developed that very distinct music style, or how did they come to write a song called Metal Postcard? Each providing insight and information. But no, let's talk about fucking cats.
