How did you manage to beat the entire game using only the standard shot and the chaser? You guys weren't even using the smoke dash. No spreadshot or lobber for massive damage. No roundabout for the final phase of grim (the dragon). This video is the definition of brute forcing every fight through sheer stubborn willpower. I'm genuinely impressed that you managed to brute force every boss (except the devil) while learning so little and using some of the worst equipment in the game.

Most people, by Cagney Carnation, learn that in this game there are different situations and strategies to master. Like that toddler puzzle with different shaped holes and blocks to match. And by Cagney Carnation, most players grasp that they can match blocks to holes What you guys did reminded me of someone forcing every shape into the square hole and somehow beating the puzzle by sheer brute force. And I love it.

Still, as a new player, swapping weapons and specials to more fitting ones is what you're supposed to do. There's an NPC quote about it, it's the "Intended" way to play... And I would recommend doing that if you're playing for the first time

I mean, I know people say modern gamers need things spelled out for them but I think one could reasonably put 2 and 2 together. Well when he fought the stage performer the final phase had the husband as like a blue god which is a secret phase because typically the husband lives but to get that you kill him and they did that on accident also in the house typically it’s baby’s throwing projectiles but in the secret phase it’s nuns that’s the secret phase
