I've been watching Latics home & away since 1996 as a young kid. Seen almost everything with them, & for Fergie to say that we are literally the best team in the Premier League, that is a huge honour in itself that should be put in the trophy cabinet

Not a United fan but always been a massive fan of this man truly great manager and reader of player's and the game also one of the greatest characters not only in football but in any professional sport anywhere ever!! Football misses him massively . I loved seeing the 5-10 minute KZbin film taken by a fellow York City fan who a few year's after York had beaten Manchester United 3-0 at Old Trafford in yhe first leg of the 2nd Round of the Coca-Cola Cup wanted to mark the anniversary and after contacting Utd was invited to the United training complex at Carrington to meet Alex Ferguson and invited to interview the great man. The 'Gaffer' generously gave his time and talked about his memories of the tie he was both funny but also honest and forthcoming...brilliant man.

No excuses Wigan should have got relegated that Season & the only reason they didn't was because Liverpool, Man Utd & Arsenal lost to Wigan on purpose so Wigan could tel the whole world they are too good too go down they got what they deserved the following Season
