SAF is very practical. Easy to stand with Evra against Suarez (foreigner) Not so easy to stand with Rio against Terry. (England captain and working class English guy) SAF is not wrong. In the real world this is how you have to be, practical.

@xXxTheProvoSniperXxX they brought in linguistics experts to identify what materazzi said to zidane, and different "experts" came out with quite a few different explanations. this in my mind is far from "beyond a reasonable doubt." people in this case are basically saying "we believe evra more than suarez." it shouldn't be this way: it is reasonable doubt, not a prepoderance of evidence, that decides guilt. but this seems to be lost on most people...
@Jabba-le-feminist-hating-Hutt2 ай бұрын
Yes, I’ve felt my whole life that Evra massively exaggerated the racism that Suarez said to evra I had a similar instance when I made a joke to a black girl and her eyes went red with rage and she got extremely aggressive and lost her shit with me. That’s the problem, that it’s racist to say that black people have a massive tendency to over exaggerate racist abuse directed towards them, much more than any other race. They have an inferiority complex
@xXxTheProvoSniperXxX12 жыл бұрын
@10YNWA10 glen johnsons just looking for attention.... Evra CLEARLY went to shake his hand BEFORE Suarez passed by and Suarez walked on ahead by him.

duhh obviously they get paid is not a rocket science to figure that one out -__-, clubs pay them twice that wage, and players can walk out from international anytime they want and won't effect there career

@xXxTheProvoSniperXxX friend, etc. this does not mean that they are all racists: it means the word does not carry a racist connotation over there as it does in england. suarez, speaking in his native spanish, would definitely sarcastically say something like "why not, pal." evra may even genuinely think suarez was racially abusing him, because he is not familiar with the culture of uruguay. so im not even saying evra is lying, he may genuinely believe suarez meant to abuse him. but suarez didn't

It was an incident than happened and it should've been settled behind closed doors. Two grown men shaking hands, instead of headline coverage on the front of a newspaper and going over the same issue over several weeks. The media really love these types of stories, so they can stir up trouble.
@derocka2 жыл бұрын
Nah, I don't think it's stirring trouble. Speaking for myself.i experienced so.much racism.in working environments where I was the minority and just didn't have the courage to fight it. I wish I had stood up for myself. The longer I was quiet, the more bitter and hateful I became and as we no doubt know, it's not everyone in a given race/group that deserves to be on the end of that.

Anyway, you're completely missing the point. I said that Romania is peaceful and never started war on another country. Actually, there was one exception: in the Balkan wars, when Romania intervened against Bulgaria. After that, we took away from 7,565km² in which our ancestors lived at some point.

You can see that attitude there. The whole thing. They (Uruguayans) have no respect for other people's dignity." Alex Ferguson, June 1986, after Uruguay knocked Scotland out of the World Cup

Negro just means black person it doesn’t mean the n word It only means the n word to a non Spanish speaker It’s like saying chino - for Chinese Un chino Un negro Un Indiano It’s not Suarez’s fault that black people hate being called black despite the fact that they are always talking about skin colour
@10YNWA1012 жыл бұрын
@xXxTheProvoSniperXxX when did suarez admit to saying "i dont talk to blacks?" when did a videotape show suarez saying "i dont talk to blacks?" when did another player hear suarez say "i dont talk to blacks?" suarez admitted to using the word. that was it
@Jabba-le-feminist-hating-Hutt2 ай бұрын
He admitted to using the word negro or negrito It’s not the same as the n word It’s just not the same You have to understand that
@10YNWA1012 жыл бұрын
@xXxTheProvoSniperXxX why did suarez snub evra? maybe it had something to do with the fact that evra's hand was way down by his side when suarez went by him (listen to what glen johnson has to say on it, and the watch the video in slow-motion for yourself. you will see evra cearly tries to play the victim card). and i think the answer to your first question is the cultural difference between uruguay and england. in uruguay, people use the word "negro" or "negrito" commonly to mean pal, mate,
@xXxTheProvoSniperXxX12 жыл бұрын
@10YNWA10 and if Suarez is gonna play in England he should LEARN what is offensive and what isn't every other foreign player has to why shouldn't he
@bh6296 ай бұрын
How would you ascertain how well he has learned? An exam? Written work? Attend a diversity lecture? It's life. These lessons are learned like this. First time I speak with somebody unknown (different race, religion, politics etc) I learn where I stand with them. If I don't, I suffer the repercussions. Suarez should have been told (by Liverpool, as his employer it's in there interest) the way you use some words in Uruguay, you can't use here. If he still doesn't get the message, then APPROPRIATE sanctions.

I Think John Terry should get his day in court before he is condemned! he was stripped of the captaincy prematurely and has proven to be an asset to the England team countless times, he has always protested his innocence, he should be treated as innocent until proven guilty
@saveferris60611 жыл бұрын
You could barely be anymore clueless. I am certainly not ignorant. During world war 2 facism became hugely popular in Romania and there was huge pressure on Carol II to ally with the Nazis, which he subsequently gave into. With the mantra being "When it's a question of action against the Slavs, you can always count on Romania". Was the massacre of 380,000 Jews by Romanian troops just due to your geographical position? Dutch troops didn't do the same...
@10YNWA1012 жыл бұрын

Ypur story 2: Romanian antisemitism had deep roots in the teachings of the Romanian Orthodox Church. Even as the Iron Guard moved beyond traditional religious antisemitism to promote economic and racial antisemitism, and violence against Jews, they did not abandon religious belief and religious language and symbolism was used in the speeches, poetry and songs of the Iron Guard. The youth movement had its stronghold in the Faculty of Theology of the University of Bucharest

@villadavid4ever11 жыл бұрын
First of all, what part of "unless attacked or forced to" you don't understand There was no "neutral" option. We're between Germany and Russia. In every war, we had to ally with somebody. Also, we had to fight to get back Bucovina and Moldova, which the Russians occupied.
@10YNWA1012 жыл бұрын
@xXxTheProvoSniperXxX im not saying he shouldn't learn what is offensive. but he had no reason to believe the word "negro" or "negrito" was offensive. as he said, he heard united players call evra that, so he figured it couldn't be an unacceptable term.

Yea maybe It was not correct maybe it was wrong but the story of the european countries is this: empires, colonies, war, blood, slavery, expoliation, etc
@villadavid4ever11 жыл бұрын
I share the same history as my ancestors. In this country's history, we haven't invaded other regions (except for the South Dobruja, which wasn't really invaded and wasn't populated by Bulgarians or Romanians, but by Turks, Tatars and so on), like Hungary did. We haven't colonized lands and exterminated their populations. We didn't go to war unless forced to. That's what I mean when calling my country and my ancestors peaceful.

@villadavid4ever11 жыл бұрын
You're probably lying about your ancestry, you can't know exactly when they came unless you're part of a noble family which you aren't. The actual Uruguayan people are hispanic. Their ancestors, along with the other colonists killed the amerindians. I'm from Romania, my country never sent any colonists to kill indians. As a matter of fact, my country was always peaceful and never went to war unless attacked or forced to.

Reason why I get on mainly with Romanians who are decent people.
@saveferris60611 жыл бұрын
Countries aren't "peaceful". You aren't the same as your ancestor's in any way other than sharing some amount of genes. Cultures change drastically in even short amounts of time. Try reading up on the topic, yes fascism did become popular and Carol II was overthrown by a fascist government. You certainly didn't answer about the persecution of the Jews. I'm sure Romanians today are peaceful and lovely people, I have not disputed that.
@AdmiralAkainu811 жыл бұрын
are you thick or something? chelsea players get paid alot of money they wouldn't jeopardise it, plus club keeps it on the law an under control , but in international its whole different story , point i'm making is if terry was still to be england captain most of black players would have walked out on England #fact.

Your story: The Iron Guard (Romanian: Garda de fier pronounced [ˈɡarda de ˈfjer]) is the name most commonly given to a far-right movement and political party in Romania in the period from 1927 into the early part of World War II. The Iron Guard was ultra-nationalist, fascist, anti-communist, and promoted the Orthodox Christian faith. It is also considered an antisemitic organization, an ideology even going so far as to demand the introduction of "state anti-semitism".
