Mad respect for David Attenborough! He's 95 years old and will be 96 on May 8th. He is the world's most travelled human (except for astronauts) because of how many times he's been around the world for his work with so many forms of nature studies. I wish he could live forever...

@@Future_Pheonix actually it might have to do with your earliest memories of life, what influenced you when you discovered the world first and what soothed you when you had hard time understanding. Sometimes it changes with experience though, but the point is that’s the tone that sooth you when you expand your mind. You might try and model the tone when you’re speaking to yourself out loud, if you’re looking for a change, but I wouldn’t worry about it since you probably already have a tone that you find mind expanding AND soothing , made just exactly for your current needs.

there's something not right. They can't find him a replacement in the last 25 years? How hard is it to narrate a wildlife program? His style is old fashioned and straight talking with nice dose of intrigue and story. Somewhat similar to Ray Myers. Almost 70 yrs ago this man had a vision of bringing various wildlife forms to us in our homes. From working on thin budgets, travelling between various tribes for weeks, waiting on worst possible airstrips for days in even harsher weathers just to bring us a footage of the rare animals we haven't seen before. This man truly is a Gem. I'm so glad he inspired me and was a part of my childhood.

Indeed, Allah is the One Who causes seeds and fruit stones to sprout. He brings forth the living from the dead and the dead from the living. That is Allah! How can you then be deluded ˹from the truth˺? He causes the dawn to break, and has made the night for rest and ˹made˺ the sun and the moon ˹to travel˺ with precision. That is the design of the Almighty, All-Knowing. And He is the One Who has made the stars as your guide through the darkness of land and sea. We have already made the signs clear for people who know. And He is the One Who originated you all from a single soul, then assigned you a place to live and another to ˹be laid to˺ rest. We have already made the signs clear for people who comprehend. And He(Allah) is the One Who sends down rain from the sky-causing all kinds of plants to grow-producing green stalks from which We bring forth clustered grain. And from palm trees come clusters of dates hanging within reach. ˹There are˺ also gardens of grapevines, olives, and pomegranates, similar ˹in shape˺ but dissimilar ˹in taste˺. Look at their fruit as it yields and ripens! Indeed, in these are signs for people who believe. Qur'an 6(95:99)

I love that he's 95 and still narrating these fascinating stories about nature. He does it wonderfully, even at his age. Age is just a number

Plants are just amazing. I started a bunch of seeds for my garden today in seed trays in my house and I can't wait to see my little buddies sprout.
