I don’t know much of Sir Ian McKellen works aside from the Tolkien franchise, yet he is one of my heroes. I hope to become an actor of the same if not close to the brilliance and magnitude that he is. I truly hope to meet the man himself one day. Such a great source of inspiration both as an aspiring actor and lgbtq supporter. Much respect sir. A man worth of any and all blessings.

His most famous other role would be Magneto of the X Men franchise. Otherwise, he has played various roles in many movies, is also an accomplished Shakespearean actor.

he came out in the 60s and back then, it was very hard for him, look at him now, he's fabulous xD

@@craftyagaming5160 he never officially came out in the 60’s. He was in gay relationships in the 60’s but it was illegal to be gay then. He came out publicly on radio during a debate about section 28. Once he did he had to come out to his stepmother. He was 47 years old and she was 80, and when he told her she said, “ oh Ian…I thought you were going to tell me something dreadful! I’ve known that for 35 years!”
