Reminds me of the reactions to the death of WWE’s Chris Benoit, before the circumstances that led to said death were revealed.
@christiangutierrez38203 жыл бұрын
Actually people still speak fondly of Benoit to this day. They all agree that he was a really great friend and a good person and a very talented in ring performer. Chris Benoit had suffered from many concussions throughout his career and scans revealed that he had the brain of an 80 year old with Alzheimer’s. Not an excuse for what he did but I think that when he did it he clearly wasn’t in a normal state of mind and had some serious mental issues.

@nikreece6295 Жыл бұрын
One woman i know in her 50s has since told me that she used to write in to jim’ll fix it as a little girl…she gave the letters to her parents to post for her…but she never got picked to go on the show. and she didn’t know why… But it was only when savile’s sickening crimes came to light decades later…was when her parents revealed to her, that they deliberately didn’t post any of her letters to jim’ll fix it….. Because they said for years. Her parents had found savile’s behaviour and appearance on television suspicious….how right they were.

Jimmy Saville really helped my friend after the loss of his Dad. My friend Mike was a postman and made a request to Jimmy to to deliver mail in a n authentic Post Chaise Mail delivery with ,horses and carriage , dressed in the livery of the time. After the trip, Jimmy had a delicious tea waiting for Mike and he also gave him a pep talk and was according to Mike very kind, understanding and generous. This kindness helped my friend over a very sad and tragic bereavement. I personally do not believe anything bad about Jimmy and the reports about sex offences can never be proved and have not attained any credibility with the Courts. He is one of many men accused by neurotic women who were once groupies.. God knows the truth, about everyone, and we cannot condemn or judge someone we are not acquainted with.
@SunderlandGlobal9 ай бұрын
This video has aged so poorly it's actually horrifying and discomforting to sit through and watch, in particular because it makes you wonder which people who were paying tribute to him knew more than what they were letting on. Take the remarks from (now king) Charles who said he was "saddened", or his nephew who said he was devastated and held him as a close friend, are we going to pretend none of these people knew anything?

Prince Andrew categorically denies any involvement or even meeting the woman in question. The media is a very powerful entity which has the ability to convince and persuade people of the most amazing stories and people believe it. The pizza express story that everyone laughs about actually has an alibi which places Prince Andrew there and the Parents remember it, but they don't report that because it doesn't sell news.

Jimmy Savile had a national reputation all right - but little did Judith Moritz know when she reported his death that soon afterwards his national reputation Would be very different from that in her report! It is still hard to believe that he could have got away with it all his life - in that regard he was a very lucky man, his victims were very unlucky and forever denied justice. I met him twice on a charity walk and somebody I know sat on his lap with a friend in his caravan - fortunately nothing untoward or bad happened to us.

You do not know if any of that was even true. God said in the Bible that He does not rejoice in the death of the wicked , but that a man should turn from his wickedness and live. I think the HATRED Jimmy has been spoken of since his death is as evil as what he has been discredited with , which.... cannot be proved in a Court of Law because those accusations were not launched until AFTER the DETAILS of his WILL were announced. Strange that ! Perhaps on the DAY of Judgement , all the haters will discover they were wrong as they have also been about other poor sods such as Freddie Starr, Cliff Richard and other celebs picked out by these women. There is also the fact that the man who claimed to be sexually involved with Edward Heath, has since admitted t his story was a lie, and that man is now in prison.

Savile made a lot of money for the BBC and for charities- and money makes the world go round. Life is more subtle than a lot of you trolls would like it to be so it can fit into your tiny minds. The documentary drew a parallel between him and Glitter - though really there was no suggestion Savile interfered with *children* (these were underage teenage girls). This doesn't make what he did right by any means. Also, we will never know if the claims were substantial enough for a conviction.
