Just absolutely incredible history in that story. Wow. Have to get to that land someday, for natural beauty, for footie & for more.

Yeah, there's so much history, everywhere you look. A lot of people probably walk through Falkirk, without realising that this grave is even here.

I had no idea that was there. Every day is a school day. Thank you for sharing.

I often wonder how much more interesting the UK would be architecturally without al those Victorian "improvements". At least they kept places like Sir John's tomb in honor so they weren't all bad 😄 Another nice video, thanks !

FGoos yeah, the Victorians did have an obsession with “improving” things, much to the annoyance of present day archaeologists. But you’re right, at least they honoured Sir John de Graham. I would have hated to have something like this lost.

Great video showing Sir John De Graeme's tomb How ever Sir John Stewart of Bonkyll is also buried adjacent to Sir John De Graeme both fought and died at the Battle of Falkirk 1298 Sir John Stewart has a medieval stone slab lying length wise down Sir William Wallace resigned as Guardian of Scotland rather than being stripped of it but great video keep it up

Hi there. Yeah, I was told about Sir John Stewart's grave, after I posted this video. I went back and filmed a section at his grave in my video, called A Wander Around Falkirk. That is one thing that I do really enjoy about doing a channel like this. You're always learning something new.

I found out about the grave of Sir John Stewart of Bonkyll, after I visited the Kirk. I went back to Falkirk and shot a video of my wander through the town. I went back to the Kirk and film a wee segment in the graveyard, so that I could see Sir John Stewart's grave. I would love to see the Battle of Falkirk event. Maybe I could come through again, when it's next taking place.
