Sir Nigel Gresley streaks over Ribblehead

Sat 21 May 2022, wanted to catch SNG in black livery at speed over Ribblehead before it goes back to blue livery, real happy with what we filmed so mission accomplished + called in at KWVR on way back for more action.

Lovely video Mal. Ever since I was hauled as a 6 year old lad in 1958 on to the footplate of a Duchess in Chester Station, I have loved steam and the LMS. This was wonderful for me as my exhibition layout was Armathwaite on the S and C, and my favourite place Ribblehead!!

Hello Mal, a very nice shot of the train station. But even more impressive is the bridge, a magnificent structure. A great ride on the streamlined steam locomotive, also the great little steam locomotive. The beautiful old diesel locomotive is also great. Such a locomotive was featured in a Railway Romance report on Scotland. I wish you a good time and many greetings Wolfgang

There must of been hundreds out to see this. Even early on when I passed through there were people waiting all along the way. You had a good day out seeing that and the 37 cab

Having missed SNG leaving York we finally got to see in black at speed too

@@YorkshireMalsTrains Yes better in steam on a train. I could not make it to see her at speed anywhere and get some video of her leaving a station, with leaving late from Carlisle on this day the only option was to get a train that departed before this one which a few decided to do.
