I remember getting cut out Sir Prancelot armour from the weekly comic, which I think came out on Saturdays. I was a 4 year old in total heaven!

This and Captain Pugwash were favourites on Australian TV when I was little in the 70's, I think this one had my favourite music of any cartoon, right up there with the theme song from Kimba the White Lion

Fantastic! A show I loved [aged 9] when it came out, and yet sadly forgotten. I always found it charming, but strangely creepy in parts. Otto The Blot and Count Uglio are very sinister indeed, and featured in bad dreams at the time. Not bad for a Cardmation kid's show. Definitely want a DVD release.

They showed this on the pre-school Jack in the Box umbrella show on The Children's Channel in the 80s. The groovy end credits theme was the bit I remember most of it all, played by the jester/minstrel guy, although for some reason I thought the show was in black and white. Stuart Maconie played it last month on Freak Zone on 6 Music, in a programme dedicated to old library music used as BBC theme tunes, and that brought back so many memories that I sought it out on the Tube of You.

Anyone remember a cartoon on ITV during the summer holidays about a magic fountain that traveled back in time?

I'm trying to find a British 70's thing about a lamb with a tremelo voice, and it had jass trumpet music for the closing theme. Could it have been called the enchanted forest? I can't find it anyway

@@bernardw4842 Larry The Lamb in Toytown is what you're thinking about if I'm not mistaken.

@@allshallpass Thank you! That is absolutely it, I finally got to hear that music again. I must have last heard it when I was little in the early or mid-70's and I have always remembered that theme. Thanks!
