He doesn't look like someone with a broad view. He did things for his community by pleasing the British and I don't think he cared about the nation or Indian society. In contrast Darul Uloom Deoband (though they were fundamentalists) didn't advocate a two nation theory and were staunch critics of Sir Syed. They even issued a fatwa against him.

Obviously, it was registered under the name of Queen Victoria; otherwise, an institution cannot run without its license. As far as Sir Syed's loyalty/ allegiance to the British Empire is concerned, Sir Syed's prophetic vision had realized that the Muslims were deprived of their fundamental rights because of their dogmatism. Therefore, he advised the Muslims to acknowledge the hegemony of the Britishers to survive; analogously, the Hindus swore allegiance to the Mughals. However, you cannot expect me to accuse the Hindus of treachery.

Finally, let me add that there is a stark difference between British rule and Mughal rule. In Mughal rule, if you stood up to the ruler, you're beheaded the same moment or imprisoned and tortured to death. Comparatively, criticism of government was permitted by the British to an extent. So it is not exactly correct to say that Sir Syed did what he did for 'survival'.

This is a very good production to bring the facts about how Sir Syed Ahmed Khan vision provide education to the entire India of that time. Muslims from far places of Sindh, frontier and Punjab used to go Aligarh University for education. Today we need again another Sir Syed Ahmed Khan as we see the need of education to fight against terrorism. The first School for muslims of Sindh was established by Mr. Noor Mohammad and the school named as Noor Mohammad High School, but today nobody remember him.

Message of sir syed HAS gone old, particularly for women, and generally for all-indians (I mean pre-partition), we are not borne and are not living as hindus and muslims and Hindus, not any more, we live, and want to live, as indians, ok now as Indians, Pakistanis and Bengladeshis, as universal human beings. India, Pakistan, Bangladesh And all Saarc have to Westernise it, have to industrialize, have to see and go forward, as universal human beings, no hatred and identity as Hindus, as muslims.

@Kawish Abbasi kindly re watch the documentry, sir syed refered as hindustani, and he never ever differentiate between Hindus n muslims, he referred hindustani as a QAUM, and what ever you have stated here, I agree, and as professor shan Mohammed in the docu also stated about the scientific society of Ghazipur, it means in those times also sir syed was having scientific temperament, after sir syed the part which was left behind and left untouched in the field of female education ,was fulfilled by Shaikh Abdullah popularly known as Papa mian, who was the founder of Abdullah girls high school established in 1906, just after nearly 8 years of sir syed death ,it was the year 1898..I hope you will be satisfied with my answer to your comment thankyou once again

Suppose I ve to construct a 7- storeyed building, I ve cast slab of 1st floor, now I ve to think of next only, 2,3,4,5,---- slabs, I don't want to remember how difficult I did excavation up to first slab construction. Sir Syed, or some Hindu social leader of that time, are like a first floor construction, of a. Verrrrrrrrrrrry high rise building, i.e., future, of human kind. We have only backwardness, poverty and hatred in our past. Let us build our future; let's be against zaat-paat, class, system in Hindus and be against poor Muslims talking of their so-called glorious past, moghul kingdoms. I am only human being and follow Sahir when he says: تُو ہندو بنے گا نہ مسلمان بنے گا انسان کی اولاد ہے انسان بنے گا ۔ ساحر I can write it in roman Urdu if you can't read Urdu in its handwriting!

@@kawishabbasi9459 Kawish Abbasi well, I can read n write urdu well, so , so, now the Q is of the construction of high rising biildings, which is I am sure in progress, but for sure the rate is offcourse slow, it can come up provided the communities get elevated with education coz education is the only tool towards education building...we all must get ahead of religion, coz religion is not the tool to get elevated towards education...rest everyone has to play a role towards a gud educated society, where human beings respect their fellow beings , with love , and compassion, which I don't think is there anymore in today's society Alas !!! but let the ray of hope be burning 🔥 I appreciate that you have watched the docu. with keen interest wish you gud luck
