question: im confused with write offs. with problem no.1 - as far as i understand when computing allowances you deducted write off -pero di ako sure. meaning allowance beginning + recovery + current doubtful expenses - write off = ALLOWANCE ENDING. but in the problem there is no beginning allowance but there is write off. Do i just assume not to deduct write off in the current allowances? do i just assume the write off is not connected with allowances and just sales on account? i get your explanation its perfect. di ko lang alam anong assumption ang gagawin ko every problem

I used scientific calculator. as per my calculation 2,825,11.51 carrying amount na lumabas sa calcu sa problem 4. oks lang ba yon? hahaha. by the way I enjoyed and learned a lot from your lessons thank you very much.

Sir bat parang baliktad po yung interpretation mo sa allowance method at direct write-off po? Ang tinuro po samin direct write-off po is nirerecognize kapag sure na di na mababayaran, and allowance method po pag nirerecognize agad ang bad debt loss. Huhu sir enlighten me po.
