Nice wiring job. For once a setup that does not look like a 5-year-old wired it.

Once again great videos! Learning a lot from you and your Dad! Did you skip a couple of videos? I started watching them last week getting trough a couple each day now, last one I saw was #28 and never saw a #23 either.

Hey Rob where did you get your Red Resistor Bender at?

I think your wiring looks great. The wire seems quite stiff, I assume your using single strand? What size is it? Anyway, can't wait to see it all working

Neale Beresford A few sizes are used, and you are correct it is solid, as to me it is easier to use as opposed to stranded in this application- the wire will be static so flexibility isn't a requirement. Most of the interconnections (the green wire) is 22 AWG. The heavier wire for the DCC power is 14 (white) and 18 (red) AWG.

***** LOL, no worries- if you think all the electronics is getting on your nerves, trust me I feel 100% more annoyed! :-) But, it must be done before we can move on to the more fun stuff. Getting very close- finished up the second SMINI node over the weekend and all the DCCODs are now done. So most (not all...) of the electronics are done now. Now to hook it all up....

Rob the wiring is the most difficult things on a model railroad including wiring the decoders for the locomotives which are a pain in the rear and getting it to all work without getting a short circuit is also a pain too and i have had a few share of them for me model railroading the last 19 years and i started when i was just 5 years old but got into the wiring part when i was 13 years old. Good Luck on your layout rob and please be sure to check mine out as well
