I know the motion blur sabers are kinda minor nowadays, but as a kid, I would have loved that idea. It's crazy you really only see imports doing it.

I had the same issue with the hood of Qui Gon. I pushed the tip of the hood into the hood and tucked it to the side and now it looks much better.

These Jedi and Sith robes should have some sort of weight at the back of the hood so it's easier to make it fall and drape naturally.

90 USD for Qui-Gon is honestly a great deal considering he was originally a Tamashii Web Shop exclusive (for some strange reason) and very difficult to get overseas, so naturally the price skyrocketed. And he comes with extras the original didn't so he's got that going for him!

I wish they would have used a color matched thread for the stitching on the poncho. The little details matter, especially at these price points.

@@sirdork730 I ordered them from a website called Buyee. It’s an awesome Japanese website. Looks sketchy but my friend and I have ordered from them loads of times. I only got Qui-Gon but I’m hoping to get Maul soon.

Looks to me like they just went back and made things worse. Look at that Maul for example... the horns on the old one are much better painted compared to the new one which has a lot of red in them and a lazy yellow dab of paint on the tips. The clothes are much better on the old one too because they have more of a matte finish compared to the more glossy look on the new one. The Qui Gon is ok but that huge seam on the side of its head is an eyesore.

The horns on the new Darth Maul are half-painted from all the pictures I had seen, it looks like popping acne, which the old one take the win.

Mauls horns are more dull and the paint is off with the new one still a good darth maul nonetheless

Man, the paint job on those horns is extremely disappointing compared to the first version. These are just a straight yellow, and only at the tips. The original had a nice ivory color with brown shading which made the horns actually look like horn, and it went all the way down to the scalp like it was supposed to. This new one just looks sloppy and cheap.
