Really appreciate the video, I had basically the same experience, I have a couple of acoustics already but one is sort of a knock around Carlo Robelli parlor that I grab when I have an idea, and a dreadnaught Takamine, but neither really gave me what I was looking for. I saw that same Mike Dawes video you mentioned, did a lot of research on the Sire and decided to pull the trigger on one, because as you said, I haven't really been able to find anything bad about them, and the Sire electronics is just beyond anything I've heard in an acoustic. I'm waiting on mine as it's backordered, but your video just makes me more confident in my decision. Thanks!!

Just wanted to add my 2 cents here. I ordered A4 dreadnought in Europe couple of weeks ago. They really offer best specs for this price: solid back and top, bone saddles, etc. At the same time there was a grain of salt in this purchase: 1) Strings height wasn’t adjusted at all, I had to grain down the saddle. 2) Strings and frets are partly oxidised 3) Finish is not ideal for sure, here and there you see small problems. All of this imperfections don’t make this guitar bad. Sound, specs and general look of it are very good. But I think people should be aware of these problems. It would be interesting to know what imperfections your guitar has and if it’s okay to have this problems in this price segment.

When I bought my S4, I had a choice of 4 of them at Chicago Music Exchange. All of them were very similar and none of them had any of the issues you mentioned in your comment. All of them were set up very well. The one I chose spoke to me over the others, especially the grain on the front of the guitar. It sounds to me you like your seller didn't take care of you very well.

I was in the same boat . I have numerous acoustic / electrics and bought a Sire L7. Awesome electric . I then ordered a SIre A4 . It is on backorder , but should be in within the next 2 weeks. I have read nothing but positive reviews on this one . Knowing the L7 is awesome I can not wait on the A4 to arrive. Enjoy your's .

I received my Sire A4 today . I think I need to play it a bit more , but I did notice a couple of small flaws on the soundhole clear finish and a bubble on the binding . Nothing to even worry about , but something I noted. Sounds great , but the neck is not as rolled at the Sire L7, I purchased. Fret ends are also a bit sharp.. I think I may have expected more . I'll give it a few more days to reach a final conclusion. Sounds really rich !!

Got mine last week, fantastic guitar for the money I still can't believe it cost me less than £500 in the UK. Quality control must be good as it's flawless in every way and the fingerboard and fret ends are rolled perfectly. I have experience playing acoustics £1000 and upwards and this can hang with them for sure. I also feel over time it will get better and will open up the mids more as time passes. I haven't really spent too much time with it plugged in but the electronics sounded good and the mic blend is a nice sound.

Mine just arrived today, pretty much the exact same as yours. I've been blown away by it so far. I genuinely cannot believe how relatively cheap this thing is considering the quality and specs. I think the only difference to yours is that I decided to not put the pickguard on since I play fingerstyle!

That's exactly how I felt when I played mine. It's an amazing acoustic and the price is also incredible. Enjoy! P.S. The only reason I put on the pickguard was to be the only person in the world with a pickguard on their A4.🤣

Got a Sire Larry Carlton A4 grand auditorium cutaway (natural) some time ago. Haven't tried the electronics as I prefer acoustic (so I've taken out the battery). Nice for the price, which is the max I can afford.

I do love the acoustic sound on the A4. When I record, I record the acoustic and the electric, which I can blend in the mixing process if necessary.
