@@jaynteewhite yes very debatable on it but i like to compare sirens to cannibalism (i know it’d kind of gross) like how cannibals get a drive for human flesh? they almost feel as if they need it, and sirens do that too they eat their soul??? flesh?? i’m not sure, cause they have an odd drive for it, to be honest they don’t need food its their nature keeping them alive, even so they used to eat shrimp, basically their diet was upon aquatic insects, but out if nowhere they switched to human hearts, sirens are very interesting and have a long backstory, if you want more answers go read some articles! they’re very entertaining

Until now no, It was used as the word “be” and it’s pretty ironic considering what sirens truly are, sirens as in what we see here are creatures from Greek mythology, and they aren’t even mermaids, they’re half bird half human creatures who using their singing voices to crash ships filled of sailors on shore, pretty interesting when we put all parts together of sirens, this is true BTW, just in case anyone’s wondering. EDIT: the reason this is ironic is sirens have wings and so do Bees, dumb but true

Huh sirens don't die when someone's takes of their necklace that what's makes them human and the siren transform into her real form she would not die but she would go to the dark water or abyss if that's what u wanna call it and sirens are vicious so it doesn't make sense her falling in love also when she gets sent of to the dark water she becomes hideous/ugly
