Its annoying me how Maddie was like "ryn this isnt you", because the truth is, that is who she is. The mermaids first instincts are very aggressive and its either I kill you or u kill me. I feel like bens and Maddie infatuation for ryn sometimes make them forget what she really is.

I think ryn is more aggressive because of mating season and in this episode it talked about her hormones being high and plus some animals become more aggressive during mating season

Think about donna as well. She hated humans and was aggressive when first meeting ben and maddie. It could be the procedure along with mating season. She clearly hates going to the lab and its only the thought of helping bens mum thats keeping her slightly sane. Thats a huge amount of stress on her shoulders and mating season and the woman crazy that happens.

I think that not only might it have something to do with the procedures and it being mating season, but Ryn might be pregnant. Think about it: Nichole mentioned that her hormones were higher. Back to the grocery store scene, Ryn seemed to be craving weird stuff, and she seemed to have more of a short temper. And in "Leverage," Ben, Maddie, and Ryn all had a little pow-wow (if you know what I mean), and I didn't see any condom. History proves that it's possible for a human and a merperson to have children. But that's just a theory. A *film* theory.

So i think she went crazy because taking the stem cells from her body probably made her system think that she was under attack. So it launched her into attack mode when it noticed "parts" of her were missing. Adrenaline

This is season 2 part 2 so the storyline will most likely continue from here and then when Season 3 comes eventually after this one there might be a new issue storyline the writers will be planning it just all depends on them really
