I would have gone here with you if I had moved to NC. There are also 2 equinoxes in Minnesota now. Both are in Redwood County. One is in Belview, and the other is in Sanborn. The one in Sanborn was installed a few weeks ago replacing a screamer. The one in Belview replaced a 10v a few years ago. Also was the first test of wash co in 2024 today.

It looks like 2001-130 but sounds like 508.

This is basically a prototype 508.

It's basically the predecessor of the 508-128. It's not a 2001. It uses an 8-port rotor and stator rather than 12 port. That explains the lower pitch.

@@itz_coaltonnn The equinox is a 2001 type siren, as it is referred as a 2001-equinox. You are correct that it is 8 port. It's pretty much a prototype, since the 508 was released in 2011, and the equinox was released in 2010.

Incorrect, this siren is not activated by DTMF. Instead it is activated by Motorola QuikCall II, while other sirens are activated by 6 second two tone.
