I'm finding the new album a patchy effort. If you like the dark Gothic sound of Nine Destinies, this will prove profoundly disappointing. However if you can accept that a band progresses and changes with time, then looking at this as a standalone tune, it's fairly good. The musicianship is great, and the tune grows on you, with plenty of hooks and a melody you can sing along to. It won't blow you away but it's worth a listen. I gave it a thumbs up and added it to THE ROCK BOX playlist.
