Haha! This episode inspired my best friend and I to try the light bulb in a milk bottle experiment when we were 5 years old. I was smart enough to get him to plug it in. It didn't light up very much, but he sure did! LoL. We survived to become Engineers.

What a great cartoon, the insipration of the 1991-1996 bizarre cartoon show "The Ren and Stimpy Show" R.I.P. Total Television Productions (1959-1969)

Yes, I remember watching this as a kid and being surprised and Mr. Whoopie's uncharacteristically stern tone.

This is due to the show is mainly a representation of how the humans could be very cruel and abusive with the animals, with Stanley Livingston being a good example of human cruelty and evilness, while Tennessee and Chumley being a good example of animal generosity and goodness

I think once Edison invented light bulbs or when they became popular, the word curfew might’ve no longer meant a nightly bell signal to cover fires and be done with work because wasn’t fire the only type of light considered before light bulbs existed?

I think that Total Television would use Bernie Wayne, or Winston Sharples' music in addition to composing their own, but you'd never see anyone get any credit for composing the music.

It should be noted that Thomas Edison used trial and error instead of scientific research to make his inventions, unlike other inventors. Also other people tried to make the light bulb, but Edison made the first practical one.
