Dr. Khadar advises us to take Ambali (fermented porridge of Siridhanya) to hasten the process of healing. Only ambali needs to be kept covered with a muslin cloth and taken after four to six hours of cooking. Cooked siridhanya rice doesn't need fermentation. However grain should be soaked for six hours before cooking.
