I just thought he could have taken care of himself that got so big and not dressed nice you know I mean they just better when he was younger as cutting all I'm saying when he first recorded those songs he look better then than they do now and I realize that we get older my face feature change but we can take care of myself better than that we have a show to do with them when I was saying with this group called Truth and we was on tour with the O'Jays was on The O'Jays record record label and 1977 and we didn't show in New Orleans and they got upset with Eddie Levert because they won't let them bring all the equipment on the stage cuz it took too much time to set them up and then break them down but I've always loved this band but you look just so much you no different than he was when he was young up again like I said I know we get old enough a sweet to change but that's no excuse for looking bad like that I mean that outfit you should have you just threw something on and that was it that's he should know better than that

You remember the drummer and the bass would kick the songs off.. make em hungry Steve! Talking bout funk.. You remember you’d be walking through neighborhood and there would be some music .. I mean somebody actually playing music.. You draw to it like a magnet. That’s where it all started.. Jamming on somebody’s porch, garage, and at the park.. Aw yeah you stayed to the end.. Yep I was there.. LB realize your youth, July 2022..

Slide was 2nd song I learned to play, first one on bass, and made me a bass player for 40+ years. It's a tragedy the luck that befallen on them. They are what many of us found out what funk was, sounding raw but tight. All the guys thar are still with us, got a little thick in the middle, but the funk still shines thru. Thanks for the memories

Slave was once a 🏠 hold name back in the days but then Steve Arrington went solo but even so... this new generation of folks aren't as familiar with this iconic band nor this iconic hunk of a man and who was once lead vocalist but is now solo artist Mr Steve Arrington he is most definitely a icon and legend I really love this man always been a fan matter fact a whole air conditioner feeling a little over heated WOW 🔥
