@@Ice_barrage well depending were you life potential lawsuit for damages or jail time if you get caught running an illegall business. botting is very easy, finding buyers and managing sells is very, very time consuming and not stable at all. so depending were you life actuall work is better. casue if you hear "botters do xxk €/$ per month" is not 1 person getting that much is usualy a team of 10-20 ppl or even more. i did it once out of curiosity but stoped soon after just to know the process. i just bot "unlimited member" + extra untill they ban the botters cause its no use to even compete for in game gold unless you can spend 6-8 h a day just to make gold.

There's a massive bot or gold farm network that goes online in worlds 505-525 UK at MLM between the morning hours of like 5-10 UK. I've been on pretty early countless times on near empty worlds (maybe 3 other people + me) when out of nowhere 10 or so random low levels in full prospectors and a rune pick hop on and takeover the upper level all at once. Once I tried to outrun them, but every world lower on the list (505 > 506 > 507) would gradually fill up in the same manner and I was forced to use a US server to escape them. This was a month or two ago, but I witnessed it happen over like an equal amount of time so I'm sure it's still up and running.

Yo man! You really have to go to Zulrah, especially world 302. There are sooo many bots there, it's unbelievable. I would guess that around 80-90% of the players hopping to Zulrah is a bot, they are really easy to spot. They all are combat level 90-96, they all wear blue mystic (some black-red) and use a trident of the swamp. They all have 1's at the skills, but strangely enough, all their mining levels are level 15. I have heard that it has been going on for months on end, and the kill count proofs it. On average the bots have a kc of 7500. I have even seen some bots with 12k up to 15k kc. That is 1.5 billion profit for one account! Please get this out in the world and to Jagex! Oh, and I love your vids, they are amazing procrastination material, not even sorry :P

If you were to make an text reader AI at the GE then it would only have the ability to flag an acc for moderator investigation because giving the AI the ability to actually ban would be risky given that the GE has a lot of social occurrences and a real player could easily be mistaken for a bot if they said just the right line of text.

I said in my report if it wasn't rectified then I'd stop spending real money and use in game gold only. They emailed me back about 10 hours later saying it had been sorted. Was quite shocked actually.

I made an Ironman a few months back and when training agility I noticed ppl who more than likely were bots training agility at canifis even when they hade 90+ agility. I was told by another player it’s because the bot banning rate was high at seers so they stay at canifis to try to avoid being caught while selling the marks off as amylase crystals

Only last year did I feel like playing again, and recovered my account. I found that all of my skills were the same, except I had 61 thieving. @SirPugger, with your knowledge of OSRS and the anti-cheating systems, can you tell me if it ACTUALLY makes a difference when I right click > report bots out in the wild? I feel like Jagex doesn't really do anything when I report bots. I play on an iron man account and see them everywhere, especially resource spots like ores, fish, trees, etc. Some of them are blatant suicide bots, some of them are a bit more hidden but I report them and nothing happens. I'll come back HOURS later after long quests and stuff and the same accounts will be there.

i forget if you covered zulrah bots, but theres still so many of them. they're always in full mystic and sit at the dock in groups sometimes. they always have 25 range with 80-99 magic and sometimes like 20m exp.they sometimes have zulrah kc up to even 10k. i think i saw vorkath bots doing the same thing at 330. they just sit in a random group for a certain amount of time. then they run in lol.

I was doing Freminik Isles today (always struggle with that spelling), and I noticed there were bots in almost every world buying (I think) the raw sharks from the fish store on Jatizo. They were all around the same combat level and any time I’d get remotely close to them, they’d immediately log out. I saw a similar thing with the Ore trader there as well. I think it’s because they sell Adamant Ore, but I can’t be sure since they all kept logging out so quickly. Can anyone else corroborate this?

There's yet another absolutely massive bot farm at Zulrah again. Nov 5th everything from Zulrah started tanking in price, which lined up directly with the Rev cave nerf. Some of these bots are almost 20k kills and this spans throughout almost every single world with multiple accounts and what appears to be multiple different botting rings judging from their gear running on every world. They interact with your random event and break temporarily right outside the Zulrah instance boat. They also appear to interact with the Priestess if she wanders next to the furthest tile West right next to the boat and get temporarily broken as well. They aren't stopped by Teleother even though many have accept aid on, or broken by placing hunter traps next to the boat. World 329 is especially bad, They're programmed to get their loot back and regear as well. I have seen multiple accounts with over 15,000 kc at Zulrah and are clearly botting. Also for several hours as of this post there has been a bot 'Chaosmind972' broken, stuck trying to get it's gear back from the Priestess after dying. There's dozens more between these worlds all with similar or identical gear with low kc and bare minimum stats clearly running the same bot script. They're adding to their bot farm, most are running full mystic, with mage arena 1 capes, but there's 1 farm that is running full Ahrim's.

In tears of guthix a few days ago there were 4 lvl 96 hardcore iron men with identical stats. They where 100% efficient in collecting tears and when called them out all 4 accounts replied without missing a tick " yes" identically. Impossible for it to be someone saying 4 accounts at the same time.

Found a few random lvl 9s at varrok church a couple days ago they all had lvl 50 pray and wore monk robes. Dunno what that was about. They stood there for well over 12 hours idk how they didn't get logged?

not sure if you do rs3 but if you search a group of accounts with first name: tata (number) you will see multiple accounts with similar stats and MILLIONS of xp in mining. eg: tata two has 172'000'000 mining xp. tata three, tata four etc and theres 12 at least. They are regulars to the Phasmatite mine south of Port Phasmatys on the Australian servers during aus daylight hours There is always one account that talks in game shlllllllllp (9 Ls) to defend them when online so not sure if just running mult accounts but the high mining xp is suss! and also it looks as though there are multiple accounts in addition with similar stats and xp with random names popping up now to check out

How about MLM? That place has always been infested with bots for years already. Whatever bot detection system Jagex is using, it's clearly not working very well because I even spotted few bots with 60m+ mining xp.

Why does Jagex not have an implication in place that if an account is gaining a ton of XP in 1 skill and not levelling up other skills that it should flag up on their system as a potential bot and needs to be investigated further. Its obvious that if an account has got 99 in 1 skill and hasn't bothered leveling anything else up then its highly unlikely a human is going to bother ranking up something like fishing 1 to 99 and hardly bother with any other skill.

You should check out all the bots tanning dragonhide. The gp per hour has gotten so low because of them.

I saw some trying do romeo quest in f2p worlds, even assigned a bot to open the door at the apothecary as closing the door will mess with their script, gotta cut them from the roots

Your math is off about how long the bots have been fishing minnows. You need 82 Fishing to fish minnows, which takes about 2.4m XP to get, so they would have technically been fishing for about 350 hours. Still a lot though.

If this keeps going on and no big action is being taken, I feel like OS is going to go downhill really fast and I fear that it will only last a few more years. Something has to be done about it and Jagex needs treat their devs better and them focus on what actually matters: Game integrity. The dev team is being held down by bad motivation (payment and working conditions for example) and bad priorities which are being forced upon them. Whilst this (botting, gambling and RWT) is probably the biggest problem in the game and will only worsen if left this unchecked. After having put heart and soul into this game for years, it really hurts me to see it in this state.

Jagex must support bot busters! Give them a ring(like the ring of coins) that will transform the player into something valuable for the specific bot. If the bot will try to pick up the ‘item’, then it’s probably a bot! Make an option perhaps so the bot automatically gets reported and will be looked in to with more urgent

I really recommend you getting to black chins. The lvl 6s-9s that have 110+ hunter level is insane. Tried making a low level mage account to kill them but they always have a protector that somehow always logs in to defend them. I find it super suspicious because there’s atleast 2-3 in each world and there’s also lvl 40s and 60s who get protected by kids with maxed pures. Hopes this helped. Tried doing some justice for ya but I got bored of dying to lvl 40 rangers with dark bows. Go get em pugg
