Can You Beat Fable using Only Demon Door Loot?

This is a Challenge Run to complete Fable Using only what we can find within demon doors, that means
- No access to shops or merchants
- No access to dig up any weapons or armour.
- Only use what we can find within Demon Doors
What makes this even tougher is that it looks like we cant even get into every Demon door, as they require us to gain loot outside of them which is just abhorrent and not allowed!

Oh man the story you came up with for the main character was gold. The rage of revenge and then calming down after achieving his goal. The visual of the cloak turning red when killing briar rose was also brilliant. Didn't expect to laugh this much on a one of these challenge videos.

Technically the Old Graveyard Path, Circle of the Dead, Cliff Side Path, Underground Passage and Bargate Prison are inside a Demon door, so all those items are fair game.

I used to be a huge fan of this game. Played it for years on my Xbox and kept creating new saves the moment one story was done. I even reached the point where I could fully lipsync the npc's knowing what they would say. As a kid I always thought the game ended after your first Jack's battle. So I only get to beat the dragon when they release the anniversary. I sadly also never figured out a way to take the Ice golem quest in Hookcoast. Other than that.. this game is such a treasured memory for me :)

The ice golem quest you see at the beginning of the game is not able to be taken, briar rose is supposed to take it. and its been tried getting enough reknown nothing happens. Also worth noting, you are correct with the first jack battle being the end. On the original Xbox release that was the case. the following year they released Fable: The Lost Chapters on PC and Xbox where it had this additional content Glad you enjoyed the video!

This was a really good video. The couple times you have to "loot" don't count to me anymore than shooting the radroach in Fallout 3. Some things simply must be completed to trigger the game to progress. Creative solutions for the other problems, good amount of humour. Well done, mate.

Wellows pick was always my first destination after leaving the guild, just keep trying the travelling traders in the next map over until one has crunchy chicks you can eat in front of the door Yeah the cutlass was also an easy pick as soon as the troll starts popping up there. Just charge a bow up around the corner for a few minutes to one-shot it and immediately have enough to get the door open

Here's my Hardcore roleplay challenge: For every quest/quest chain you complete, you get one point for upgrading Strength/Skill/Will abilities Theresa and Scarlet Robe gives generous three points power boon Killing Heroes give you two points (Most of the time the Evil Hero is the easy route, Jack of Blades is the only Hero kill for Good Hero) If you die at any point or fail in quest, you start back at Save 1 (Pre-Wasp Queen Quest) (The only exception is letting minor escorts in Lookout Point die or losing in mini-game) Getting Avo's Sentinel or Skorm's Bow reduces upgrade requirement by 1 and also change alignment as opposite hero, this is irreversible You decide the good/evil route from Orchard Farm quest. You cannot reload back to latest autosave You cannot use any kind of potions or food You can restore health by sleeping on bed (Unless you have Health Augmentation) In town you can only steal items when you have unlocked Steal expression (Guile 3) In town you can only bet about 100 gold and have 3 attempts per in-game day You can only teleport on Cultis Gate Pads, no guild seal You can only sell items that is wanted Silver Keys will be spend when you open a chest, keep track of the numbers. (Example you have 9 silver keys and you open 5x chest that leave you with 4 silver keys remaining) You can only explore regions that's unlocked while progressing on gold quest (Example the fishing hut area after Orchard Farm Quest and Grey House after Darkwood Escort Quest) Physique and Accuracy levels are determined by: Iron/Clothing/Yew = 0 Steel/Leather/Oak = 2 Obsidian/Chainmail/Ebon = 4 Master/Plate = 6 Legendary = 7 (Sword of Aeon and Frying Pan bypass the limit, Tear of Avo does require Legendary Level to strike) For every two levels of Magic Use, you can upgrade your current spell by one level if you have upgrade point available You can hold up to 8 spells maximum The alignment you choose prevent you from taking opposite alignment magic spells You can trade Lightning with another starting magic spell without upgrade cost (Save 1 only). one thing that i must say, is that i was always fond of the “enflame” spell. and it was very necessary if you wanted to basically just cheese the whole game, you could just spam the spell and defeat almost any enemy untouched.

I'm sure many know this but for those that don't, the game can be child's play with push, shield, and tons of will potions. Hobbit cave multiplier at Demon door, just keep going back and forth in and out to battle the Hobbits, and or troll. The multiplier halves when transitioning from out to in and vis versa. With shield your multiplier never resets from hits, but takes mana so use shield mash the push and keep your mana from depleting or the shield is gone and the multiplier more than likely be reset. This is basically early game infinite exp., mostly in will but the green orbs can be used for any trait.

Instant Follow This Video isnt just a playtrough its a full blown guide. 1. Combat Multiplyer door? Back then i just killed my way up and down the stairs till my modifiert was around 25 then i got to the door killed the Hobbs and got entry.... your way is so much better lol. 2. The fireball trick is just amazing. Edit: With the trolls. Hide behind one of them so the ranged attacks from the other hits the back of the one near you... profit :)

I loved Fable The Lost Chapters! I found everything my first playthrough! And hated that I hadn't known that scars were permanent! So my guy looked rough! Inbfuture playthroughs, I'd grind at the starting area, and the right outside of it, putting points in to Shield, and Slow Time. And then I'd make way for the Demon Door that isn't that far off, that opens for evil deeds, or something of the like. I just would buy chicks and then eat however many in front of the DD, to get inside for really powerful (especially early game) hammer! I'd love to do another playthrough! Or three or four of them, even! 😊

Ahh yes, wellows pickhammer. Inheritly it doesnt need loot, but you can also do it with crunchy chicks as its the faster way. Unless your lucky and can somehow get 1 or 2 people to follow you so you could kill them in front of the door. That weapon carries me through half of the game most times. Although i didnt know you could continuously destroy that guy for evil points and then go to said door. Neat and the kerning city maplestory theme? Priceless lmao
