I agree! People will talk regardless!!! This kept me from starting a KZbin channel for almost 10 years just cause I was so afraid of what people would say 😭! So glad I have overcome this- mostly 🙏🏿🙏🏿! Thank you for sharing your perspective 😊🙌🏿!

@@ElijahEstevez Just a question, if you don’t have the Holy Ghost and there’s a dream you want to pursue, should you pursue that dream without the Holy Ghost and does God tell your gift and tell you to do what you love without having the Holy Ghost, as my belief is if I do what I love, God will bless me with the Holy Ghost while doing what I love? Thank you!

@Sheila-c3l3z Hi Sheila, that’s a great question. First, we should never pursue a dream and leave God out. Second, our goals/dreams are something natural that pertain the things of the world. God given vision is another. That being said, no you don’t have to have the Holy Ghost with evidence of speaking in tongues to pursue things that you’re passionate about naturally speaking. Whether you’re filled with the Holy Ghost yet or not, everyone has to just be sure according to understanding you have that way your natural goes are align with what is allowed by scripture. I truly believe God will bless those that honor the gifts that he put in us if we use it humbly. I have yet to come across a verse or teaching that has said “you have to speak in tongues to pursue natural dreams.” To reiterate, we absolutely cannot leave God out and exclude him from any venture we take in life, but to wait till you quicken, speak in tongues or hear a divine voice whisper in your ears until you conclude what you want to do is “ok” wouldn’t be wise. I hope that makes sense.

@@ElijahEstevez Yes that’s great wisdom. Thank you! Yes I believe I have a gift for art in the natural sense, but I guess I was too scared to pursue it as I believed if I was to pursue it according to scripture and humble myself in it that it would take time away for me to seek for the Holy Ghost. All I do sleep and eat and self care. But I don’t have a passion and so I thought it be Graphic Design. It’s what I love but what I really love doing is music and my art. Those two are my loves. Does the Holy Ghost tell you or advise you how to answer me? For example if I was to ask you what the Holy Ghost is telling you Elijah what my gift is will you tell me?

Well I think it’s great that you an interest for the arts, I absolutely encourage you to put it to good use. It’s always important to keep a balanced spiritual approach to everything you think and do. What I’m telling you is just a compilation of knowledge and experience I have to give you that advice. If the spirit told me to tell you something and I knew it was God, I’d like to believe I would tell you. However, that’s not the case and in this conversation it doesn’t have to be. If you feel like you don’t have the ability to seek God for the Holy Ghost and give time to natural things like the arts, you have to know for yourself if it’s distracting no one else will be able to tell you that. However, always approach yourself and what you’re doing from a scriptural standpoint so you can rightly judge yourself on those things, ya know? Only you can know what your gifts are and you don’t have to know either you can discover that with time. but what I can say is you won’t discover that by waiting around for someone to tell you, just pray and try different things and I’m sure you’ll find it
