DUDE this video is AWESOME I main 2.9 Xbow since two years, I'm a 20 game winner, but I couldn't figure out myself how to beat consistently this MU (or at least draw it consistently), now I understand that it mainly come from my tendency to be overly cautious and patient Also this kind of in-depth analysis video is what I feel is currently lacking in the CR-youtube scene, so that fact that you are filling this hole "feels great man" Best regards from France and keep up the good work !

13:26 he begins the game with dropping archers in the back. Better option would've been cycling ice spirit first, and allowing elixir pool up and then cycle archers to the back, this way you can allow your archers more time on your side of the arena and use ice golem/skeletons etc.. to kite. 13:55 Opponent drops their Elixir Collector & a bandit at the bridge, meanwhile crafter is at 9 Elixir and has used his defensive cycle cards (Ice Golem/spirit & skeletons). I think the best option would've been to drop his Xbow and allow it to soak up damage from the Bandit before she gets a dash, the opponent has to use more Elixir to defend the xbow that was placed allowing Crafter to drop a fireball on the pump and at this point he has all of his cheap cycle cards back in rotation to defend against anything crafter uses to block the xbow from connecting.

This format is simply amazing Tag. I truly enjoyed both gameplay and commentary. Since you are not playing, you are obviously in a better spot to commentate. And replays of a such caliber provides tasty material. Honestly, although I play only a few decks feel free to apply this format to any deck you deem worthy and I will watch. But as a personal request I would like to see bait deck variations, hog cycle and further Xbow matches given how diverse the meta is. Keep up the good work mate!

You don't really see these pros leave the xbow to defend itself. For example: the hunter gets owned by the xbow, but you see the pro log or ice golem anyway. I believe it is important to know what interaction to ignore and what to react to. This could be just high level play not really leaving an opportunity to see such technique, but it would be very beneficial to those unfamiliar with the mechanics and lower level players. As the opportunity for such mistakes would be greater.

You lose. Don't lose your tower, especially against beatdown decks because they can drop units right on top of it wherever you place it pretty much.

How do you recommend playing with 2.9 when seriously under leveled? Im at 4600 with all level 8's (only exception being the log). I constantly am coming up against level 11/12 wizards, giants, hogs, legendaries and its incredibly frustrating.

I personally feel golem lightning and balloon miner cycle are the worst matchups. Giant Double prince and even RG aren't all that bad, we can tie out by playing aggressive, but with lightning decks, they can lightning plus barb barrel and ignore xbow completely. WIth the balloon variation, they cycle almost as fast as us and have soo many counters they can just spam at the bridge to kill xbow. Also that goblin giant sparky dark prince lightning barb barrel deck...sheeeeesh thats a rip. Im at 6.5k with 2.9 xbow and I face these so often its not even funny smh
