Ron, Another great informative video. Your videos are detailed and while sometimes creating questions in my head you cover them soon in the video. Thanks for years of experience and current information.

Very cool combo set up. Is there a link for the extra plates and gimbal ball head? That along with your harness internets me for in air flying picture taking.

I will add the links to the gimbal ball head and plates to the video description. Thanks for watching and commenting. Ron

Hi there Ron, Thanks for the video, sounds like a no-brainer considering the price! I have another question for you. Do you have any tips for keeping a Swiss arca plate firmly attached to the lens ? I have the 100 - 500 which I use on a monopod, however the plate just won’t stay firmly screwed on and starts undoing itself, not great! Thanks, Ian.

Use a screwdriver to tighten the screw on the plate to your camera , I had to do it with my camera because if left it would become loose ...

You need to use an allen wrench type screw and use the wrench to really tighten it down. Then it should not move. That is what I do and I don't have issues. Thanks for the comment.

Can You tell me little about the blind. I seems a bit transperent to me , whitch I like. Is it homemade or bought?

It is a blind I purchased. However, they do not make this blind anymore. The company makes a similar blind but the material is not mess and thus is not see-through. The company is Ameristep.

How much vibration does that tripod attain when a heavy lense and camera is attached when you are focusing on a target .. looking at the screen instead of viewing thro the view finder .... I have a similar tripod it's a Manfrotto Element M2 and i can't put my Sigma 150-600 on it because it shakes like an earthquake ,, and the camera shakes that much .. makes it virtually unuseable ....

A small travel tripod with a heavy load will shake when trying to work with more static type subjects. I use it for action photography with heavy gear so shaking is not a issue. I am panning with the subject, and have my camera settings set accordingly. If you want to use heavy gear and have the camera and lens rock solid while on a tripod then you will need a large tripod with large diameter legs and maybe even add a weight to the center of the tripod. Get one without a center post as well.
