I just went up that trail where you guys got on the Alpine loop last Friday. Their were some technical spots on the switch backs for a relative novice overlander like me😊. I ended up smashing my gas tank skid plate, started smelling fuel, and thought I had a leak and headed off the mountain. Tank looks ok, I don't see any leaks, so I'm not sure where the smell is coming from.

Lol. Higher elevation will often times cause the fuel to boil particularly when its hot out or been running for a long time. For this reason its always good to not turn your truck off in high altitude unless you plan on sitting for 1hr or more. Otherwise it may nit start back up!

Just got back from Colorado... 3 hours ago 😂. Enjoyed the video. If you happen to be around Grand Junction, drive through Grand Mesa...lovely scenery there and 62 degrees in July. Oh by the way, congrats on your Tundra, hopefully you will find a topper for it.

Planning a trip out that way soon. It’s a bucket list trip for me. How is the dispersed camping in the San Juan’s?

@@SirWilliamGoes sweet! I’ll be there in a 5th gen 4runner. Wife won’t let me bring her beloved 100 series 😂. Looking forward to it.
