well done. this is how Kirati culture can be preserved. we jirel are proud to be kiratis. i hope rai limbu people know this. we have been separated for such a long time and bahunbadi media and bahunbadi teachers never talks about jirel people. i know nepali people do not know jirels are also kiratis so it's up to every kiratis to know your brother and sister and help them. all Kirats -rai, limbu, jirel, thami, chepang, hayu, dhimal, tharu, baramu, sunuwar, yakkhas etc etc must UNITE. do not let the Aryan Hindu Caste system divide Kirat people anymore. Kiratis must unify and save Nepal. we must make our country strong. I am proud to be kirat.

Absolutely! We must identify our history and embrace our roots! Age of suppression is long gone. It's up to us, the new generation to garner momentum!

@@sanulimbu4080 and to all the Kiratis please only pray to Lord Shiva. because he is Kirateshwar or God of Kirat people. It is now known that Lord Shiva was originally God of Kirat people from the Himalayas regions of Nepal and northeast India. It has been said that Lord Paruhang was adopted by the Aryan people. When the Aryan people accepted Lord Paruhang and adopted him into Hindu culture, they gave him Sanskrit's name which is known by Shiva and Rudra. Eventually, Lord Paruhang(now Lord Shiva) became part of modern-day Hindu culture and symbol. If you do not understand this let me explain to you more in detail. Kirat is descendants of paruhang/sumnima (shiva/Parvati). This name can be different in different tribes. But the Indian Aryan brahmins took our god and named him shiva If you look at Lord Shiva's photo, he is carrying buffalo horn in his waist. To the Hindus, anything that is associated with buffalo is a sin but Kirat enjoys buffalo meat and they blow buffalo horn usually at the start of their festival whereas brahmin blows sankha. Lord Shiva also wears the skin of animal and lives in the Himalaya which denotes that he is a good hunter and the Himalaya hunter are non-other than Kirat. There is numerous evidence that Lord Shiva was the non-Aryan god of Hindu and Parvati was a Kirati girl. Even the Mahabharat describes that Lord Shiva was Kirat god. Arjuna adopted the name, nationality, and guise of a Kirata for a period to learn archery and the use of other arms from Shiva. the Birupaksya statue located inside the Pashupatinath temple is in the image of Kirati man proves that Kirat was the first worshiper of Lord Shiva. Please tell all Kirati tribes - the rai, the limbu, the thami, the chepang, the dhimal, the magar, the hayu, the tharus, the sunuwars, the yakkhas and others that we must only worship Kirateshwar Mahadev. I will personally tell the jirel people to only pray to Lord Shiva because we jirels are also part of Kirat family.

@@dilipjirel3434 yarik yarik Nugen. I wholeheartedly agree with your explanation and reasoning as to why Paruhang and Sumnima are worshipped as Shiva and Parbati by Hindus. Although my knowledge lacks the depth you have; my father, who remains no longer, used to tell us since we were child of the things you talk about. The evidence is clear and like you said even Kirats are written about in Mahabharat. I hope more will be talked about and written about this in future for our newer generations. It is up to us Kirats to carry this through.
