Nigerian builders love these mirrors, closed up spaces with jarring neon lights that are bad for your eyes. You are in Africa, open up spaces, let light in with big windows and greenery around the houses for some freshness. I get headaches just seeing inside of these homes.

The size of the windows I agree but they are probably trying to prevent robbers from gaining easy access. I do big windows and get burglar proof (not to pretty but necessary). Definitely agree with you about the weird lights. Mirrors actually help to open up a room
