I generally would agree with Ebert over Siskel . . . but not this time, not about Desert Bloom . . . a great, too often unknown, movie. Everyone in the cast was remarkable.

Desert Bloom is WAY too caught up in being a 50's time capsule. The characters don't really stand out.

they have a good point about robin williams. in his career he only did a few really great film. i whould say the world according to garp, the fisher king, and awakenings are his best the rest of his films werent great.

I remember seeing The Great Mouse Detective in the theater 😀. Club Paradise was awful.
