This documentary is something special. If you have never seen it make sure that you do. It’s a travesty that a documentary that in my opinion would easily fit in the list of top ten docs did not even get a Academy award nomination.

2:42 "we're gonna spend a whole bunch of time tracking people's lives" That incredible British documentary called "Up" does exactly that.

I went to college with William Gates and, even though he was a bench warmer much of the time, I’d see him around campus and he always looked happy. I said hi to him a couple times and he was nothing but friendly, I’m glad he’s doing well.

Great film. Would live to see today's verison of hoop dreams with things like AAU and social media becoming so much involved

Agreed. And also, I feel like very young kid who wants to play basketball professionally should watch this movie. There are so many great life lessons that you can take away from it( at ANY age and regardless if you don't play basketball or even LIKE basketball or sports, in general but I do feel like young athletes could benefit from watching it).
