Lawrence of Arabia is one of the finest films ever made! If you ever get the chance to see a David Lean film at the cinema, please do. I saw Doctor Zhivago for the very first time on a huge screen in 1999 and it blew me away! Breathtaking images on a grand scale and what a cast! I'll never forget that experience, Alec Guinness's narration, Omar Sharif's eyes, Julie Christie's beautiful face, the Cossacks attack at the protest, the WW1 battle scene, the shots of the trains through the snow, the transition from Winter to Spring and Maurice Jarre's unforgettable score. I hope one day I can see Lawrence of Arabia on the big screen and really see it how David Lean imagined.

It is a fantastic film and a winner of 7 Academy Awards including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Film Editing, Best Cinematography (Color), Best Art Direction (Color), Best Sound and Best Original Score. Siskel & Ebert reviewed this film in February 1989 when it was digitally restored to its original brilliance courtesy of Robert A. Harris (whose restoration credits include Spartacus, Rear Window, My Fair Lady, Vertigo and The Godfather & The Godfather: Part II), it's nice that you got the review up because it is worth mentioning that next year in 2022, Lawrence Of Arabia will turn 60 years old so hopefully it might get a big screen revival for younger audiences to discover.

Lawerence of Arabia is 4 hours long but it is not boring at all (some 2 hour movies feel longer than it) its performances, cinematography and story are so good and well written. I was lucky enough to see it at BFI IMAX in London back in 2018. Trust me the bigger the screen the better. Such a shame O'Toole got robbed for Best Actor for a performance of a lifetime.

Recommendation for Korda’s biography of Lawrence “Hero,” which gets into his very odd and flamboyant personality, his sexuality, psychology, relationships with various other important people of the time, and more.

This is one of the important films that has ever been made for the last 59 years, even though not all people like war movies. But David Lean really, really, really makes "Lawrence" come to life. Keep up the good work, Jason!

Two Thumbs Up and they couldn't possibly be held higher for the reconstruction and revival of David Lean's widescreen masterpiece Lawrence Of Arabia.

David Lean's masterpiece Oscar winning Lawrence of Arabia is worth checking out on the the big screen. I blew the opportunity to see it in the theaters in 1989. If it gets rerelease again I well check it out. Beautifully directed by Lean in it's epic proportion. Cinematography is incredible. This film is such a classic. Best film of 1962. I remember that young women and teenage girls were going nuts for Leonardo DiCaprio in his role in Titanic. Well in 1962 young women and teenage girls were going nuts for actor Peter O'Toole in this film. Great performance by O'Toole in his role. And rest of the cast is excellent. Hopefully next year on the films 60th anniversary we'll see a rerelease on the big screen. Maybe IMAX screens. That would be great.

Got this movie somewhere stored in the vault and still haven't seen this lol Also what happened to your vid of Streets of Fire? Diane Lane in her prime can move so fine on stage. Like Val Kilmer did as Jim Morrison

Streets of Fire was taken down due to copyright. Stupid really as any money made from the ads goes to the copyright holder.

It's very British but in reality it's one of the greatest films ever made, the only films that equal it are Apocalypse Now and The Godfather. War films are not everyone's cup of tea though.

@@JasonBagherianjust saw it. Idk what to think of it. It definitely kept me watching even though the run time is almost 4 hours. Some of the shots are stunning. But I feel like what should have been some of the most emotional moments didn't quite land per se for me. ***Spoiler*** Like for the 3 major deaths of the two child "servants" and the death of the man he went back for didn't quite hit me as I think it should have. If those 3 deaths where more impactful it would have elevated my experience greatly. Maybe if they would have spent more personal times with those characters it would have made their deaths more heart wrenching.
