Armenia has suffered greatly in the past. 1988 was a tragedy for them and i sure hope they are more prepared than they were back then.

Those who were in 1988 got flashbacked. Armenia and Georgia must be reminded of this and have better warning systems, infrastructure and recovery plans.

Dato curioso: Armenia tuvo sismos de magnitudes 4.9 y 5.2 en Febrero del año pasado, el de 4.9 ocurrió el 13 de febrero

Yeah, in fact exactly one year before this they have a 4.9 quake.

According to Wikipedia (as trustworthy as they are lol) lists only 6 quakes that was either damaging, deadly or injurious since the year 893 AD. The last deadly quake was only in 1988 though. The one before was in 1931, which is the same year the UK experienced a magnitude 6.1. I'm not too familiar with how often Armenia receives earthquakes as a whole though.

Non I doubt. Here in the UK, we have nothing, because we barely get moderate/strong earthquakes. In fact, the emergency services in the Southeast of England was criticised for training in the event of an earthquake. These quakes may be rare, but they do happen.

To some people yes. 5.4 is not a little quake for those who barely experience moderate/strong earthquakes. (I know Armenia experienced a deadly earthquake in 1988). Also, the quake was very shallow, at just 10km deep. This quake will feel much stronger than say, a 5.4 at 100km deep.

Se detonan feo los armenios después de cierta edad, aunque el último "jelou!" ... Ah sí el temblor, pues yo soy el primer presentador como que quiero salir corriendo del pánico pero pues primero el trabajo jajajaja Qué susto tan tremendo, pero fue por lo superficial del sismo.
