I think that her voice and singing ability is only one part of the IMMENSE "package of Talent" that God bestowed upon her. There is her ethereal beauty that grows more captivating with age - her mesmerizing smile and eyes - the warmth, love, joy and energy that radiates from her - her sense of humor and her intoxicating laugh - and her modesty and humility. Sissel stated in an interview that she realizes that her talent was a GREAT gift from God to be treasured and used wisely. Christians talk much about "humility" and how important it is. However, when you have a talent and gifting as great as that which Sissel does, to STILL be able to be truly humble is also a great gift INDEED !! As so-o-o-o many have commented on her videos - when God brought a "Sissel" into this world, it was truly one of His most beautiful, unique, and precious creations !! 🥰🥰🥰

Yes my conclusions after listening to such a lot of singers over the years, SISSEL is beyond comparison the most sensitive singer in the world. I.e. her absolute control of the way her voice and soul affect any human being..

How could anyone not be familiar with her incredible voice from Lillehammer? It was the most memorable recollection from those Olympic games. You hear her voice for an instant and remember forever! The same Olympics when she sang as a teenager the opening song in 1984, and Torvill and Dean won Gold for Britain ice dancing to Bolero. Her voice rocked my world at that opening, without knowing her name, wanted to find her and hear her sing. She is incredible. Her version of Titanic is incredible and there is nothing she can't do vocally!

When Sissel covers "popular" contemporary songs that everybody else is singing she is a good singer. When she sings more obscure pieces and classical pieces, including her religious pieces, she is on a different planet from everyone else out there. She is so powerful, so absolutely clear with her notes, "haunting" comes to mind, unbelievable talent! She is so smooth. Her performances with the LDS Tabernacle Choir are what I imagine angels would sound like ...

Yeah me either and I'm quite emotional myself at least whenever I hear her she has such a beautiful voice and presentation. @leecowell81652 жыл бұрын
well at least you found her. I was fortunate enough to find her early in her career because I didn't remain in the states. its difficult to find such a humble person though. I found her simply by accident even before the advent of YT. I had a good friend that traveled a lot and he heard her while in Bergen in the late 80's. Bergen is one of the main cities in Norway near the SW coast. Just pure chance he wasn't even Norwegian. He loved Bergen & its people because it had a relatively mild climate for being at 60 degrees North.
